Chapter 2
---phone conversation--
Shilpa: Hey Madhu, it me Shilpa. What are you doing right now?
M: Well today I have to tutor Rishabh, but he's not here yet. So I'm still waiting for him. See this is the problem with rich and snobby people like him...they think only their time is valuable!
S: Wait did you say Rishabh? Rishabh Kundra!!! *squeals*
M: yeah, why what happened?
S: He is so handsome and dreamy...can you talk to him about me...to see what he thinks of me.
M: *groans* yeah I know about your crush on him...and no I'm not gonna talk to him about you. I have to teach him and get his grades up...not sit there and gossip with him...and he's not that great, he's late!
S: okay! Okay! Calm down! Just be nice to him...can't you even do that for your best friend?
M: Fine. I gotta go, I think he's here. Bye.
--Call ends--
A white Mercedes stopped in front of Madhu. Then Rishabh got out of his car and walked towards Madhu.
M: (looks at watch) You're late! You we're supposed to be 15 minutes ago!
R: You're lucky that I even showed up!
Madhu hated that stupid "I'm so cool and bad" smirk. She turned and walked inside the building. Rishabh followed her.
------------Inside the building-------------
Madhu and Rishabh sat at a table next to each other.
M: I was looking at what you need practice at and...
She looked over at Rishabh and saw him texting on his phone. She snatched the phone from his hand.
R: Hey! That's an iPhone 5...if you break that , you should feel bad cuz Steve Jobs made that on his deathbed!
M: Don't worry I won't break it. You'll be getting this back when we're done with our work today.
Madhu hands him a paper.
M: Do this.
R: *sighs* So, I'm gonna have to work.
He starts working. Without realizing, Madhu started staring at him. She looked at his intense killer eyes. Moving down to his perfect shaped nose. Next to it his hard and well shaped jaws. His muscles, tight tshirt that covered his chest. And finally his soft lips which curved into a smile. He shifted his intense and killer eyes towards madhu.
R: Why are you staring at me?
M: (snaps out of it) Huh? What? No, I wasn't staring at you...I was just...so...umm...are you done with your work yet?
R: (smiles) No
M: Well hurry up. You're taking forever.
Madhu got out a book and started reading as she thought to herself about what just happened. Rishabh looked down at his paper then looked back up at Madhu. He watched her read with her big hazel eyes. She was playing with a curl in her hair while biting her lower lip slowly.
R: umm...I'm done.
M: Okay
Madhu hands him back his phone and they get up and start leaving.
Madhu gets to the door and sees it's raining hard. She didn't even have an umbrella. Rishabh sat in his car and watched Madhu as she searched for a taxi in the pouring rain. He smiled and drive his car and stopped in front of Madhu.
R: Get in the car I'll drop you home.
M: No thanks, I'll get a taxi.
R: Oh look I see one there!
M: Where? Where?
R: Exactly, it's invisible. You're not gonna find a taxi. Plus I'm a good person today, I usually don't help people. But the choice is yours. You can come with me or wait alone in the cold rain.
Madhu bites her lower lip and thinks. She agreed and sits next to him in his car.
