Beauty and a Beastpart 5:
madhu and rk reached home. rk realized that the house has changed to a great extent. now it looked lively and full of life. madhu had a great love for colours.
as soon as he entered home he saw his dog oscar running towards him. oscar wildly pounced on him and started wagging his tail.
rk: hey oscar !!
oscar starts to run around him in circles.
madhu: wait a minute, how do you know his name??
rk: er...er...well i ...i just read it on his collar.
and he pointed towards his collar.
madhu: oh!! you please do sit here.
and then she rushed inside and brought the first aid kit.
she carefully washed his wound and applied antiseptic. rk winced as she touched it and madhu blew air to sooth it. it was madhu not rk who was flinching at the sight of blood. rk was totally mesmerized by her. he never thought that the girl whom he never acknowledged could do so much for a stranger like him.
madhu: it's done.
rk: thanks.
madhu: you look tired. you can rest in the guestroom on first floor. we will talk later.
saying this madhu went inside.
rk got up quiet late in afternoon. he saw a packet lying on bed along with a note.
hi stranger,
these are the clothes u can change into. don't ask me where they came from. they belong to son of mr. kundra. don't know if they will fit you or not but pls try to adjust. get fresh and have your breakfast (or i say lunch) downstairs. martha will help u. she is really very nice. i am going to college. please don't go away. i want to talk to you.

rk smiled at her concern. he went for a bath and came downstairs. but he was still wearing his hood .
RISHAB !!!
he stopped in his way and turned around and saw martha.
rk looked anywhere except her.
martha: you are not big enough to hide things from me rishab.
she came towards him and rk unknowingly hugged her and started to cry.
rishab: sorry aunty !!
martha rubbed his back and comforted him.
rk: you recognized me??
martha: how can a mother not identify her son?? how did this happened.
and then he narrated whole story to her.
martha: madhu is very nice girl rishab. she knows how to be happy and how to keep others happy.
rk: i saw that. somewhere i am glad that ever turned me like this. otherwise i would have blindly trusted madhu and would have never ever got to know about madhu. she is shamsher uncle's daughter??
martha: yes. does she know that you are rishab kundra??
rk: no!! and please don't even tell her. she has already done so much for me. i don't want to hurt her.
martha: that's nice rishab but i can't leave you alone like this.
rk: but how long?? i have to stay like this forever.
martha: who said forever?? you will find true love one day.
rk: thanks but i don't think so.
martha: have you told your parents??
rk: nope.
martha: then what?? okay. i will tell madhu that you are my nephew and that you will stay here with us.
rk: but what if she doesn't agrees.
martha: she will. i know her.
when madhu came back from college martha told her that rk was her nephew. and then madhu rushed to his room and banged open the door. rk was siting inside checking his laptop which martha brought from his home.
madhu: oh sorry!!
rk: madhu!! i got your letter.
madhu: you are martha's nephew ??
rk: yes.
madhu: great!! then you can stay with us. i will talk to mohan uncle.
rk: you know him that well ??
madhu: yes but not his son.
rk: how's he like.
madhu: well, his son is the strangest person i have ever met. i just got a letter from him on the first day of my arrival.
rk: i am sorry.
madhu: why are you saying sorry?? hey what's your name??
rk: r...rishab.
madhu: (stretches her hand) i am madhubala. but you can call me madhu.
rk: why are you helping me??
madhu: because i love to help poor homeless chicks.(giggles) just kidding. you are martha's nephew and my friend !!
friend!! so she considered him as his friend ??
rk: aren't you afraid of my looks??of my ugly face??
madhu: who said you are ugly. beauty lies in the eyes of beholder and you have a pure heart.
rk: thanks.
madhu: can i ask something?? how did you get disfigured...i mean it's okay if you don't want to talk about.
rk: i got hurt in a car accident.
madhu: sorry. (tries to change the topic) the clothes fit you too well. as if they were designed for you only.
rk smiled at her thought. well they were actually his.
rk : why were those goons after you??
madhu: maybe because of my father's elder brother - balraj chaudhary.
and then she told him whole thing.
that night after dinner madhu took rk on a round of the very big house. she explained and guided him how not to get lost in such a big house. though rk knew house ten times better than her but he liked to see it through the eyes of his new friend - madhu. and he knew that this friend was precious and he never wanted to loose her.
