Neha Janpandit who essays the role of Mallika in Zee TV's Rab Se Sohna Isshq (Jay Productions) is upset with her link-up stories with co-actor Kanan Malhotra. According to certain recent reports, the reason for Ekta Kaul and Kanan's split-up is because she entered Kanan's life.
Rubbishing these reports, Neha clarified to Tellychakkar.com saying, "All this is untrue. I really do not know who spreads these rumors. Perhaps it is a publicity gimmick to spice up things from the show's point of view. I have been in this industry for six years now, and I have never been linked with my previous leads whether it be Eijaz Khan, Harshad Chopda, Karan V Grover or Barun Sobti."
She went on to say, "Kanan and I are professionals and we share a good rapport, work and go back home. When I got to know of this rumour, I was shocked. Kanan and Ekta Kaul are happily engaged and I am not a girl who will spoil any couple's life. In fact, my parents were shocked to see that my name w as dragged into their split-up story. But they know me very well, and I am very close to my parents. I talk to them about everything that happens with me. And the moment I clarified things with them, they believed me as I am not the type of girl who will break homes."
Neha who joined Rab Se Sohna Isshq four months back has decided to quit the show owing to creative reasons. "When I entered the show, they needed a highpoint in the story. However, with time, the story was not developed as it was narrated to me. That was when I decided to talk to the creatives and move out of the show. I am now serving the notice period and continue to shoot for the show. We will be moving towards the culmination of my track in days to come."
Neha ended her talk saying, "In future, if I ever get into a relationship I will be very happy to share with you people."
