SaRAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What and episode!! I want to hug and kill the directors at this moment of time!!! He gave us the world and snatched it right back...he showed that happy, teasing..full of confidence Saras...and then again took everything away frrom him..as if he did not deserve this small portion of happiness, even after all these years!!!
The start was super..in pace with yesterday as Saras continues to tease and miss seeing her face...the way he shakes his head at Kumud's face hiding tactics...but ofcourse...then comes the deadly kite cutting competition...
hahaha!!! you have to see the baffled expressions on Saras's face when Kumud marches ahead and takes control of the kite and then handes him the Manjha, as in reflex action...knowing he would be there...for her!!!
And then Saras takes over..showing her that he is not Joru ka Gulam...as he snatches the kite from her hands...and we see Saras in control..Such a role reversal...the Saras from yesterday who was holding the thread as if hanging on for life and today's Saras who is totally a seasoned Kite Flyer..though I liked those minor touches of the director...the way they paced the floor ...to and fro while flying the kite..it is exactly how excited we get when we are in 'PEch" ...
And Saras saves the day..and Kumud again gets into her spoilt brat mode as she snatches the kite back,,,but ofcourse...as Saras continues to whisper-tease her ..she loses it...and the kite is cut...
And Pagal kahin ki..she runs after the kite..and so does Saras...after her...
You have to give it to hem...that they are excellent runners...š
The Muh dikhai...The ultimate climatic moment...when the calm ocean finally sees the turbulent river's high waves and knows that she is coming to him...The challenge and the challenger...the Shrew and her tamer (No offence to Kumud here...Just sort of liked citing Shakespeare ),
I kind of adore how he looks at her...
Kind of like you look at your first Tranzam ... kind of the look a man who has gained eyesight after years of blindness...suddenly a new look ...a new world...the tenderness in his eyes...and the peace therein...as if he has finally reached his goal...and it was if he was thinking aloud...that her voice was the one which had brought him here...but her face...Owww...Saras hardly knows how to hide his feelingsš³...at this moment...and then again he throws his challenge back..telling her that he has wonš...
Even her taunt that he made her lose his kite...doesnot jab him..he indulges her like he indulges a spoilt brat,,,,and runs after her...not knowing what stood out there...ready for him..ready to usurp this small moment of happiness he was having

The best executed sceneš...Take a bow ...Director...Gautam and Raginiji...the way Saras' eyes lose their light almost immediately he realizes where they have landed...the way he looks at the place in horror...dumbfounded..as if all these years did not exist and he had again landed in the same nightmare that he had lived all those years ago!!
Gods are so against him naš”...for the first time in his life may be ..after his mother's death he was truly, uninhibitedly happy...carefree...ready to stake his heart...ready to enjoy a bit...and almost the very next moment fate leads him to where it all started..or rather...where it all ended...
God just few moments ..he was so happy..and later on see...
The whole chain of events...from Kumud's taunting to her leaving...was actually a background to let Saras face those demons...alone...
But even when she was right there ...enjoying the so called joke...he was already a goner...
The scene where he imagines the kite as his mother's saree...the way he clings to it..the way he shouts...hurt anguished!!! it just tore your heart...as if the little boy had returned and he was trying to find his mother in those waters...That scene was justššššš
And I also loved the practical approach of the director here..they did not show that Dukhba was alone and being the hero by saving Saras...she did have help...
And the way she wipes Saras's tears...and Saras looks up at her...This one breaks your heart and sincerely you want to hex Guman...what has she done to this family!!!!š”
I almost cried at that moment...he lost it..completely...utterly...the way he went and hugged her...Ragini (Dukhba) had always been one of my favourite Gujarati actress..but today...her first surprise at his hug and the next moment her complete acceptance..the same parellals drawn when she had carried the young Saras out of the water, in her lap, all those years ago, after her mother died, and today, when she anchored him to a semblance of sanity...bringing him back to present...and saw the lost child..that she had saved years ago...
She finally realizes...he is Saras...Saraswati's son!!!
Callous of Kumud..childish..but yes you cannot fault her for anything else...though Why did she leave Saras to jump into the water was something I could not understand...not a good scene...

But otherwise a heartbreaking episode...your heart goes out for the little boy who had lost his mother...seen her committing suicide...had been carried over by others away from the dead body of his mother..and then the light just went away from his life...
