Giving wrong advice

Suhasi says that Neelam has to please the moron of a husband. In this age, this advice is regressive. Neelam can just leave that house and work as a housemaid somewhere else where she can get some salary. Then that entire household would have been put to shame.

But the ill treatment is too much. Better to leave than live in such a house with such a husband.Neelam should develop a spine by herself than depending even on suhasi.

Once neelam leaves, then they will realise her value. TV shows are fictional and they can show anything instead of saying adjust until you die.

True, even if Neelam leaves and stands on her own feet, she will still be yearning for the love of her husband.

This type of mindset has to change. If tv continues like this it will have adverse effect on some people. A bold woman will also hesitate to take correct decisions.

But in real life, women are more liberated than neelam from the kaamwali bai to actual housewife. Husband is not god to please him. And what is wrong with how she dresses up? She is always neat and clean and looks good. I dont like this serial going Pratigya way.

Somewhat. Pratigya always stood up for her co sister. Pratigya went against the family many times when the need arose.

there are some mild similarities.
