I know I felt very bad for him when he woke up from that nightmare.. I am sure Madhav has faced many taunts and comments about his appearance in life but Aradhya's words stayed with him.. and grew along with him in the form of a complex.. she has a strong impact on him be it as a kid or as an adult now.. his life's direction is somehow or other related to one girl and that is Aradhya!!!
