Sounds like a whiner to me i have travelled overseas several times and I have be. Checked never detained though . But it is a process and it happens . Happened to me in France 😉

Another celebrity who wants to be treated a class apart even if it affects the security measures... Booo...

What the heck...I was checked too and I am not even a muslim...Whereas in India, in one of the metros, where they were checking all the bags...didn't check mine...as I was carrying a million bags and was looking hassled...They simply said, I don't look the type anyway...say whattt😲😕...What a sorry state of affairs...Even after so many attacks, they still go by the looks and the attire???😲😵

Stop whining Irrfan Khan. It's a security process that is required in order to keep US safe. And for people who think it's just Muslims who are checked, its not. Everyone whom they suspect or something is fishy about their information then that certain person will be checked regardless of what religion or race you are.

most of the people goes through the tight security thing. to make things worst, if ur appearance is rather doubtful, ur gone. suppose ur sporting a heavy beard or have taken something which u shouldn't. ur experience on airport will become scary. but this is what it is. its their country and their rules. here security is a joke look what happened to the rape accused he committed suicide inside the cell and everyone claims noone had any idea abt it. So I would suggest Irrfan to get used to it because u or anyone can't do anything. i personally don't mind rules. but their strictness scares me a bit. A little gentle would have been good.

Like 'likarsh' said, there's a thin line between harassment and detention. The officials' behaviour and demenour seems to belong to the former. Treating and making somebody feel like a criminal is NOT OKAY, regardless of the puny justification. You DO NOT need to feel up peoples' breasts, penises, butts and little kids to ensure security. Those who are fielding the 'security' argument are talking bullcrap. There are gazillions of nations who get to be as terror-free as the USA without this crap.
