Asad is a man who has always controlled everything... everything around him has happened according to his wish...so its pretty difficult for him to gulp down the fact that this Girl is changing the whole scenario of his mind and heart... he is being effected by Zoya's proximity...and that's the reason he is ignoring the feelings which have developed inside him...

As for Zoya ... she is definitely not a despo ... i guess each one of us wont tolerate somebody coming in our territory and getting more attention than us... for Zoya this family has become her own...and she has solely got the attention of Mr.Khan whether hatred, anger or care since day 1...so it was difficult for her too, to digest this sudden shifting of focus...Zoya was way too adorable today like kid wanting the attention of her parents when they are busy doing something...

so i guess both had their own reasons for their behaviour today

Exactly! Zoya is definitely not a despo. She is just possessive for her family and love and her nature and bubbly-character is making it seem like a despo but no she is being truthful to her character and reacting
