Arnav roared in anger : STOP IT Ms.Gupta.

Arnav : Dont you use that word again Khushi. I wont know what I will do.. You are testing my patience..

Khushi : Yes.. I m testing your patience. I will.. I want to know why you did this to me.. Why I was made a victim at the first place?

Arnav : Just be clear Ms.Gupta.. I cant answer delusional questions.

Khushi : A person like you who hated to talk with girls fell in love with me at the first sight? A person like you who loses temper on everyone maintained calm with me? How can that be possible Arnav? What was the inner motive?

Arnav fisted his arms in anger: Khushi so you mean to say my love is fake dammit ? how dare you ?

Khushi : I wish so Arnav...I really wish it was true love.. When I came to know that you were behind Eddie in getting all my projects in your hand, I was shattered.. When I came to know that Eddie gets call from AR and the project Hamptons which was supposed to be papa's dream project went off his hand just before his death and the same project was signed by my Legal husband, it broke my remaining strength. Enough Arnav it doesn't take much time to join dots and understand what your intentions were ? And I still cant understand how you made my papa also a tool for your cheap act?

Arnav couldn't guess what she was talking.. It did strike to him what facts she was presenting was true but it was never his intention. He gave a thought on what and who was behind all these. AR calls to Eddie ? That was were it hit him the most. Something was happening right under his nose against his wife and he couldn't detect.. He felt so disgusting of his own employees who had supported. But he had to clear her misconception now.

Arnav : Wait Khushi.. I think you are really getting everything wrong. I mean..

Khushi : Then prove.. Prove me you are right.

Arnav : So you want me to prove my innocence? I will but isnt there something called trust which you have in me to give me a benefit of doubt?

Khushi : If you had given me an answer on why you had a special consideration towards me after that accident and saving me from my life I would have given it a thought but I see that you don't have any answer for that.

Arnav : Ridiculous.. So I pose that question to you? How did you believe me when you knew I were a stranger? How did you trust me that you let me stay in your house? How did you allow me to enter into your life as friends and all the more sign a legal marriage contract with you? How did you say that you fell in love with me the one who saved your life, the one who lightened your life, the one who united you with your long last family? If I were having such wrong intentions I could have used you long back for my pleasure and you would have'.

Khushi : Yes that's because I truly love you .. There were no one in my life other than you. I couldn't understand at that time that you were taking advantage of my weakness.

Arnav : If you can justify yourself that your love was the only one reason which made you trust me before then I can very well justify that I also had the same love with you. I don't need to fake my love with a motive behind that too for some stupid business reasons. It doesn't take much time to tell you that you also took the advantage of situation Khushi..But listen'

Khushi : What ? I took advantage of the situation ... How can you easily turn the tables Arnav ?

Arnav grabbed her shoulders : Dammit if I m wrong then how can your father transfer his 50% of shares in my name and that too a clause which bound two of us legally?

Khushi : Yea' I don't know why he did. And I don't know why he selected YOU especially when he was just communicating with you through mails that too for business purpose. Doesn't it really make it hard to believe Mr.Raizada?

Arnav : Yea.. You should ask this questions to your father not me! Damn I wouldn't have stepped in this mess if I had known about this before.

Arnav though in a fit of anger uttered those words which he really didn't mean it. He felt as though he was forced to talk like that. Khushi was venting out her frustration and anger to him but she herself was not sure that she was blaming him and accusing him. It felt as though she wanted to give up her life then and there.She broke down into tears which really melted him and went near her to console when he suddenly noticed the shadow behind his curtain. He knew something was wrong. Khushi was forced to believe that he is wrong. He had to find out with the hint which he had in mind and for the time being he had to continue the same situation as the main intention should be to separate them. He had to act infront of them to prove the truth. He had to make her realise that she was wrong and that how much she meant her in his life. He wanted to reveal the reason why he felt the attraction and love towards her which he didn't have towards any of the girls. But he had to wait and his first mission was to find out the truth. He closed his eyes gulped his feelings and pretended to be hard like a rock which wont be affected by her tears but deep inside he was crying for her to be with her.

Arnav : I cant do much to make you understand if you are so stubborn in believing others than me' Its up to you.

Khushi wiped her tears and got up to talk to him. She wished to move away from him. She was truly hurt. She expected him to fight back but when he gave up she was shocked. She moved towards the door to leave the place.. to leave him if possible to leave this world.

Khushi : Ask Nani to postpone our marriage.. I don't want Sheetal and Payal to suffer because of my ill fate. Let them not know that I don't wish to carry forward our relationship..

Arnav : You can better tell that by yourself..

Khushi : Why the hell should I ? You started it.. now you end! Tell me one thing what was your plan? Leave me after you conquer all your London business sharks or still continue to be my husband till the end of me life ?

Arnav expected this from her. He wished he could never get into such a situation in his life. He never loved anyone so close like Khushi. Khushi is not wrong. Any one in her situation would be bound to suspect him. The situations were so close yet so confusing. How could he be blamed completely for such a situation. Was he carried away by the rituals and family that he forgot to note certain things in her office. His thoughts were broken by Khushi by her finger snapping..

Khushi : Any answers for that question?

Arnav : Get lost from here now!

Khushi : I know that would be the answer.. .. Lets go down. Atleast for the sake of that lovely family I have to bear this for the time being.

Arnav : You think you know everything but in reality you are confused within yourself and I can understand.What you cant understand from my face I can understand from yours.

Khushi was not ready to hear more from him. She turned back and left the room followed by Arnav.

Mami hit Anjali's elbow to witness the most the lovely couple coming down together. Both of them were ready to tease them.It was obvious that both of them looked tired but the faces looked gloomy which made Nani concerned on what happened between them.

Nani: What happened chotte ? Why are you looking so dull? Are you not feeling well?

Khsuhi bitiya , you look so tired as well. What happened ?

Khushi : Nothing Nani. Im fine.. I am just having a small headache.

Anjali : Khushi, your face looks so red..erm did anything bite you?

Khushi rubbed her cheeks innocently and looked at her : No di.. nothing..

Arnav understood how his sister was teasing them. Anjali and mami started laughing at Khushi's innocent reply and that's when Khushi realised she was being mocked.

Khushi felt something heavy at heart as if she was going to cry her heart out infront of everyone.She felt weak in her knees but she suddenly felt his hand pressing hers.She understood his message it was control herself. But how did he know that? This was killing her within herself. He knew her each and every emotion and even presume what would happen to her. How was it possible? How can she suspect him. His eyes are true. His emotions are true.Whatever perceived through eyes and ears can it be true?

Arnav's reaction was spontaneous as he knew she would burst out infront of his family. He unknowingly pressed her hands to let her know that he was with her and not to lose her control. Both of them shared an eye lock which had numerous questions and ambiguous answers but true love can it be ambiguous. The look was indeed witnessed by the whole family who cleared their throat together.. Arnav and Khushi were oblivious until they could hear it. Arnav left her hands and turned towards Nani.

Arnav : Nani, I have a request. I have to travel to US for an important project and that happens to be on the day of marriage which you have selected.. So can you just postpone my marriage for a later date and you can conduct Akash's and Dhruv's on the proposed date.

Nani and others gasped when they heard this shocking news.

Nani : Chotte.. are you kidding ? Delaying your marriage? We have already started arrangements. What will I tell everyone?

Anjali moving near him kept hand on his shoulder: Chotte your marriage is like a dream for all of us. Do you know how happy we were when you agreed to marry Khushi..

(Khushi looked at Arnav who was blank in his expression, She looked at the anxious and the shocked eyes of all the members who were not able to digest the fact so easily. How would she convey the exact situation to them? )

Anjali :Now all of a sudden you want to postpone your marriage?Its not fair chotte.. Just think about Khushi how she would feel when her marriage date gets postponed?

Khushi gulped down her tears and was terribly upset that she was and is deceiving such a nice family who are concerned about her feelings. Did she give a consideration to their feelings ?

Mami : Arnav bitwa, Cant you postpone your meeting for some other day? The project is not as important as your marriage. I m looking forward for your's and Khushi's wedding than my sons'. You better cancel that project bitwa..

Arnav: No mami its impossible. The client is so stubborn that she is not ready to listen to my words.I have to make things clear and sort it out otherwise I would be proved worthless.

Khushi stared at him with confusion on what is he hinting. She understood his indirect reference on her but she was getting thoughts on how to convince the family rather than listening to his indirect comments on her.

Khushi : Nani, its okay. Let him go. For him work is important and I will not be a stumbling bloc on his path any time. We can conduct the marriage as soon as he return back from US.

Arnav turned his face on the other side as he felt his love is so weak that he had to convince and prove his love. Khushi turned her face on the opposite side for the situation which had developed itself to be a meaningless dream..

Akash : but Bhai.. please we can wait till you come back an we can have the three marriages together.

Payal:Yes . no need to hurry up for our marriage.

Khushi : No Payal, everything has been fixed let it happen as per decided. So please understand our situation.

Mami : oh just look at that Anjali bitiya.. its their situation. We should not interfere in their joint decision.

Nani: Fine.. as you both wish.. We shall talk to Madhumati and Shekar. Will decide on the dates.

The family agreed on their wishes. Khushi left the the house with Payal with the pretext of showing them she is not feeling well. She didn't even turn to say goodbye or look at his face before leaving the house. He felt as if someone was tearing his heart and snatching away from him. But the look in their faces was never unnoticed by Akash. He understood there was something between them.

Arnav : What the hell Mr.Sharma ? Why cant you find this out before? Why did you hide this from me ?

He was shocked was an understatement. All his doubts proved to be right. He closed his eyes not knowing what he had to do.. He closed his eyes gulping in all his anger but one face appeared in his mind his Khushi. He cant cheat her. He cant. She is more important and she needs to know the truth. She can only decide about this. She has the right to judge. He should not take the decision on his own. But he needed to collect information to substanitate. More than he getting clean chit he didn't want anyone in his family and Khushi to get hurt. He was ready to bear the burnt. He had only one dilemma whether to open this truth before marriage or not. He prayed to his mother for strength. He decided to face the person behind all these face to face.

Aakash and Dhruv were sitting in the drawing room, when Khushi was just sitting on that big sofa, working on her laptop.Arnav was back from his office. Arnav saw her, and again, saw some difference in those hazel eyes, which he was seeing from past 2 days.. He was unable to make out what it was..

Khushi looked away from staring at Arnav when Aakash coughed.. Dhruv just giggled..

Aakash-Bhabhi.. We are here..

Khushi smiled and looked at Arnav who was getting furious on Aakash to tease them..

Arnav looked at Khushi and Khushi passed him some file. He came and sat near her in the couch.

Khushi-erm.. The list of all vendors for the new venture is ready.Please have a look.

Arnav-Khushi I - -

Khushi-I need to leave Arnav.. Its too late..

Her voice cracked and the Raizada brothers knew Khushi Gupta was not okay..

Aakash Dhruv looked at each other and Arnav's heart felt a tug.. Arnav knew she was behaving normal infront of his brothers just to let them know there was nothing between them.

Khushi just turned her back to move, and her eyes left tears.. Her heart could make out how warm Arnav's eyes were, with love, with concern.. But her mind was stuck with heat.. Dhruv nodded his head up and down as Aakash told him something..

Dhruv got up and rushed towards Khushi before she could leave..

Dhruv-Bhabhi.. Bhabhi.. Bhaabhi.. Wait..

Khushi looked at him confused.Dhruv held Khushi's hand and pulled her wrists to make her sit besides Arnav again and pushed her almost in his laps.. Khushi hissed as her heart felt butterflies and Arnav jumped as he felt, her.. Aakash gave a smirk and Dhruv winked at him as they saw Arnav holding Khushi waist to hold her from falling in his lap, and Khushi stared in her world, in his eyes..

Dhruv settled besides Khushi and jumped on the sofa so both Arnav and Khushi came to Earth..She left him and settled beside him soon all their arguments came into their mind.

Dhruv-Bhabhi.. U dint tell us something..

Aakash-yes bhabhi.. Bhai is always woking, at least u should have told..

Arnav and Khushi were confused..

ArShi-WHAT?!

Together they spoke..

Dhruv-Bhabhi, u never told us how bhai became all romantic and caring all of a sudden, I mean out of the blue?! He was never so..

Aaksh-Pyar insaan ko kitna badal deta hai na..! (Love transforms a person much much..)

Arnav and Khushi stared at each other tears coming out of their eyes...Love transformed them but something transformed their love too. Both felt so near but their hearts so far as something was pulling and pushing them from inside.

Dhruv- errm' Bhabhi, look at me too, am also here..

Arshi are feeling their hearts race and Khushi looked at Dhruv and looked down..

Khushi-Hmm?

Dhruv-Bhabhi I need some tea.. Can u make it for me?

Arnav-Dhruv, ask HP.. She is not here to make your tea..

Aakash-Ya bhai, we know she is here for, you .

Khushi-NO. I mean.. its getting late. I don't want to be here unnecessarily..

Khushi grits her teeth and looked at Arnav.. Arnav felt his heart stabbed..

Aakash-What bhai.. Bhabhi is actually here for u.. U are also not trying to make her comfortable.. Dhruv, lets go.. I will make extra strong tea for all of us..

Dhruv and Aakash left thinking Arnav-Khushi will sort out their small issues.. least they knew how small their large difference was..A thin line between them, who can cross the line and admit their love was the competition.

Arnav looked up at Khushi and Khushi tried to get up when Arnav held her hand..

Arnav-Khushi wait.. I need to talk to u..

Khushi-plz Mr.Raizada, I need to go.. Leave me..No one is here and I think no need to act now .

Arnav was feeling un easy from her talks.. With a heavy heart, his grip on her wrist loosened.. He met her eyes as she slowly looked back, her eyes showing a disbelief. He took his coat rushed to his room. Khushi looked at him with teary eyes not able to tell him that she wanted that warmth and consolation from him but does she have the right anymore?
