~Sneak Peek Of Chapter 6~
She removed her hands from his, her fingers trailed along his palm; she arched back and turned round not wanting to meet his gaze. She gulped. He could clearly sense that she would break down. Her shoulders began to tremble and she drew in a ragged breath.
"Hey," Arnav whispered, "It's Okay; It's just a matter of six months."
His words seemed to release her emotions and she lowered her face into her hands. Her sobs were deep and heavy, intensifying with time.
"What about-- my saut-- Err-- Lavanya? Will she not ha-- hate me for being-- being a Drunken-Marriage-Fiance-Snatcher-woman?" She choked out between her sobs, now facing him with puffy eyes.
"It's all right, Khushi," he mumured.
"No-- It's----it's not," she throttled "She'll hate me for having stolen her fiance from her; she'll hate me and like those Indian-Drama-Movie-Vilains she'll conspire bad things against me-- and-- that's-- that's what I exactly-- exactly don't want!"
He could not not help but smirk at her reply. For the first time in his life, Arnav Singh Raizada felt his knees going weak on seeing a woman blubbering in front of him. He reached for her hand and slipped his arm around her.
