The problem is, people are trying to find pratyusha in Anandi.
When a writer writes the scene he takes in consideration the character as well as the actor who is going to portray the scene. What will go perfect with their look etc.
When Scenes of Anandi where given to Pratz her, innocence, built, softness everything was taken into consideration. Thus the mixture of it came out really good.
Now if they give similar scenes to Toral it just won't work. Its against her personality.
If a girl is of a certain built, looks a certain way (in case of Toral, fierce and strong) her voice etc. then to give scenes where she enacts as a meek, soft spoken, nazukh etc just won't work.
I am stating my opinion here... one should not search for an opposite trait in someone that just does not fit the bill.
Avika's Anandi was chulbuli, keen, always questioning things around her, outspoken, nadaan . Avika did het perfect job as she was a child herself then and had that innocence, naughtiness required by the role.
Pratyusha's Anandi was a woman who was going through huge losses in her life. She was evolving into a strong woman but had her own insecurities.
Toral's Anandi is the butterfly (I hope- so far so good). She has a kick a$$ personality. A leader, even MLA or Chief Minister type look.
STrong, brave, not shy, confident.
does that make Pratyusha a weakling? NO she is an actress. WHo was given a role to play , specially that stage of Anandi where she was weak and filled with insecurities. She played that and played it extremely well.
I cannot imagine Pratyusha as a mother of three kids. She is just 21.
Nor can I imagine her as an MLA. She is way too soft for that role.
Its against her built...
Now that Anandi has crossed all the two stages and entered into the third one, she needs to be strong not just mentally but physically as well. So They picked Toral.
I do not mean that it would have not worked out but I think they took these things into consideration. Pratyusha is an excellent actress. She would have continued the role nicely. But the creatives did not probably feel that she would fit the bill of a mother. So they changed her.
Anywayzz.. so Its better to look at Toral's version of Anandi rather than trying to find pratyusha in there. She is gone.. you will not find her there. If one keeps looking they will feel disconnected.
