actually liked ovi today

i actually liked how ovi directly confronted purvi today. anyone who reads my post know that i dont like ovi character. but ovi thinking that pari is her daughter has every right to confront puvi about the breastfeeding. i mean who wouldn't be disgusted to hear that some other woman was breastfeeding their kid. i love how she brought up the varsha reference and told purvi to get it straight that she is a mausi and not a mother. bc purvi is getting to that point that she would become varsha. purvi needs someone to tell her directly that since she gave the child away, she cannot act as a mother. i actually wanted to slap purvi when she was crying. like this dumb girl gave her child away for no reason at all and now she wants to play mother to this kid. and then she had the audacity to reach for the child when they were leaving even though she just got into an argument. im glad onir gave it to her as opposed to comforting her bc purvi in this situation totally deserved it

agree! she told her exactly what she felt, which was really good, purvi got a wake up call i guess :)

even I was surprised to see how she went to take the baby to hands after Ovi's serious warning and also her convo with onir 'she will keep distance from Pari'...

she shouldn't have did baby swap...i am sure everyone think Purvi did big sacrifice when truth comes out...but she didn't let a mom to mourn on baby's death...noone will understand Ovi's feelings...

really liked Onir today the way he told to Purvi was just amazing...

purvi need reallity check and ovi gave her just that.

I too liked Ovi a lot today - she was controlled, focussed, and coldly decisive, both with Purvi, and then with Arjun. Anyone else in her place would have felt the same and reacted the same way.

Nikki, I do not think her reaching for the child yet again after all this hungama is due to her audacity, though it does look that way. I think, judging from the inconsistency of her statements and her actual reactions, that Purvi is fast becoming mentally unhinged. I would not be surprised if she did a Varsha and ran away with the kid. This time Onir - and I agree completely with your comment in bold, masti - would not be able to chase after her because he would be too busy fending off the charges Mittal has filed against him. Serve him right for falling for such a female, who uses and uses and uses him without a single thought for his feelings and needs.

This said, it is strange that the police can come and arrest a very highly regarded medical professional on a baby swapping charge, solely on the basis of CCTV footage that is not at all conclusive . If that is the charge, all that Onir would have to say is that he was carrying Purvi's stillborn out of her room when he decided to check on Ovi and her baby. So, when he reemerged from Ovi's room he can assert, the white bundle in his hands was the same one he had when he went in, Purvi's stillborn child. Who is to disprove it? There is nothing to distinguish one white bundle from the other.

Not that this will bother the CVs. who have a cavalier disdain for all matters of detail, But if Onir is dragged to court, it is to be seen if his Mishti speaks up and rescues him, or lets him dangle, as her aai did to her husband in the false chawl demolition case. She has done one better than Archana in every serious matter till now, and I only hope, for the sake of Onir , of whom I am quite fond despite his folly in falling for this woman, that she is not going to conform to her established pattern in this case as well!

i didn't see that episode...but i remember posts about mittal saw that CCTV footage, and i thought he felt the moving baby while baby was taken from purvi's room, and the baby cameout from ovi's room was stillborn...and to hospital staff he told purvi baby is dead...

so it clearly says purvi's baby is taken to ovi's room...and ovi's baby is given to hospital staff...

Purvi will never tell the truth...she will let Onir to take blame for it...and Onir will be happy to take the blame for his mishti...

not sure Mittal/Police is going to tell the news publicly...Mittal might use the Baby Swapping thingy to blackmail Onir/Purvi for Organ scam or K's home...

it will be really izzathless thing if Onir/Purvi get the K's house signed to Mittal to hide baby truth...

I really cannot see Onir/Purvi/Arjun reaching new highs of lows everyday...it is better if the truth comesout and Arjun-Purvi gettogether instead of eye-lockings/mind-readings/breastfeeding/flashbacks...

i really don't want to see this world famous Obgyn to forget about his dreams because of his love to mishti...love should make one proud but love with mishti is just ruining his life ambitions...if his ambitions were aira gaira then I wouldn't have felt much, he is such a good human being...

sometimes I feel very bad for Onir's situation...he is very sensitive...and precap made me to think really crazy...what if the newspapers make big hungama of Onir's baby swapping...

I agree completely about Onir, and if it happens as you have suggested, and Purvi then goes back to Arjun, it will be more disgusting than anything I have ever seen in a Balaji serial.

As it is, given how cynical the public in India,or in the US, for that matter, is, he will never be able to wash off the stain of the scandal. People like to believe the worst of anyone, and the more admired and respected the person is, the readier they are to pull him or her down to their level or lower.

But one hears that Onir, as a character, is Ekta's favourite, and so she might not let it come to that. I for one very much hope so.

I cannot remember that segment well enough to agree or disagree on the moving baby vs stillborn baby aspect, but that is not going to bother the CVs in any case.

Th question is what is Mittal's locus standi in the matter, when the baby's parents have not filed a complaint. That is what happens in such cases. Perhaps he will claim that he does not want such illegal things happening in his clinic.

He has been pulled down and weakened, in fact crippled, by his love for this woman, like the shorn Samson. His Mishti is in fact worse than Delilah, for Delilah actually loved Samson. Onir was so happy and content earlier, with his poor patients and his lovely old house and his Shambu kaka, and now see where he has landed up! I agree completely with your lines in bold.

I don't like Ovi's character but I think she has all right to confront Purvi and tell what she felt. I would be disgusted to the core if I were her. I felt bad for Purvi the other day when she was mean to Purvi when she was playing with her but if she really gave the baby to Ovi she should stop breastfeeding -.-
