Helloo everyoneee!

Shout out to especially peaches, bee, ash, arjunaluis, amelia and jai! :)

Was on a long break in India and just caught up on all the recent episodes! Glad to have missed so many faltu episodes! What have they done to my ARVI? Unrecognizable and unrelatable! Murdered beyond recognition :( Oh god, much worse is what they have done to Rithvik. No dialogues, no acting scope, no scenes. Why is he not firing at Purvi yet like he promised after his wedding? Why is she upgraded to a higher level of mahanta? Oh god, baby is given up once again for Ovi? Why o Why Purvi?

anyway, summarising all these past episodes is futile..I see that the forum is already full of these and the two camps Arvi versus Onvi are still at war...Blame the CV's. But this post is from the point of being neither ARVI nor ONVI, because that is how I have come to see the show since the stupid leap. so this is more like an ode to what was.

I do not like Arjun anymore. I sincerely do not. I loved him and I remember so many posts trying to salvage his character. But not anymore. He is a man of 25, not a boy of 15 who needs others to do his bidding. A man of 25 with a business empire under him, so he should know better. Sympathizing with Arjun, makes me hate Purvi. What has she done to this guy? Why is she still around him like a ghost of his past? More like a ghost he keeps feeling the need to look at every now and then? I realize his marriage is a sham, but why is he not divorcing Ovi? Why did he have a baby with her? After being intimate with Purvi and giving her those threats on the next day of marriage? Where did that resolve to make this right go? why did he listen to her and give Ovi a baby if he has no plans to move on in his marriage? I am unmarried, but the literal joke they are makign of these two marriages is really pissing off...I realize Ovi is not worth feeling sorry for, but Onir is damn good guy...What is his fault? why is he being treated like a puppet by Purvi? He definitely does not deserve this!

Today he named his daughter after Purvi and his past..That is a little ridiculous even to me who is an avid ARVI fan ( rather used to be). He is a father now, not just a lover of Purvi or husband of Ovi. He needs to think straight and really cut Purvi loose from his mind if he plans to raise his daughter with Ovi. I know of a real life example of such a brother in law and sister in law affair situation that drove the son to suicide. Yes, really. This is how reality works. If they wanted to unite, there were hundred ways to do this. Now, with a child in their arms, they cannot. If they do, they need to do it now, before the child grows up confused on who is the real mother and who is the real wife of her father. What a messed up situation to be in! does nobody give a damn about the little one? Ovi is cradling her in the night, Purvi is cradling and FEEDING her in the day ( that was pathetic). Imagine, growing up to see Purvi-ma and Arjun-dad staring at each other with lovers eyes while the reality is Arjun-dad and Ovi-ma sleeping together at night and Purvi-ma and Onir-uncle being husband-wfie at night. I would be devastated to see this muck in my family. They both need to grow up big time. Purvi had no business hiding the truth from Arjun, not about his baby with Ovi nor her baby with him ( that is sooo messed up itself). She has made mistake upon mistake and doesn't seem to get punished also.

Onir is a good guy and she agreed to marry him. I don't want to get into why she isn't procreating with him yet because she laid the terms down to him before already, but I was aghast she hadn't told him truth about family and Arjun before hand, even if he refused. But besides that, making him sleep on hardwood floor while she takes rest on the bed is sadistic...And then looking at Arjun and remembering past memories is cheating...Ovi may have called this upon herself, but Onir did not. So why is he getting this second hand treatment from her? As for Ovi, I do feel bad for her now. She has no clue about why Arjun wanted a second chance and gave her a baby...Now she thinks she has it all, when clearly her husband and her baby both are controlled by Purvi. Even a villain like her deserves better...She is not some Rasika who plots and plans. she has been evoking sympathy simply on humanitarian basis. Now she does not even know her own baby is dead and she is raising a love child of her husband? That is cruel. If she would have sat at that mandap by poisoning purvi or by cheating and married Arjun, I would wish such a fate on her. But she offered the deal and these two idiots agreed which is why I don't see why people still want her to suffer. She has suffered enough I think and now, this baby thing is really not something I would wish upon even an enemy.

So yes, I guess, Arjun-Purvi are not the sainted lovers anymore in my eyes. They had their chance at love, marriage and even this baby, but they threw it away with their own hands, especially Purvi's hands and Arjun blindly following her. Now he has become a puppet and no longer the strong assertive man I used to love. She has gone from being my fav girl to being a mahaan lady with no sensibilities of life, marriage and love left. She is only following in her great mother's footsteps who never guided her right in life. She just wants to emulate her mom and that is the most sad part of this story. But I feel really bad for Onir and this baby who are stuck between these lovers and dysfunctional families.

I guess, this post was only reason I came back to forum and to say hi to all the friends here! I do not have patience to watch this muck. CV's have failed us beyond anything and even if ARVI unite it will be like glueing broken glass pieces together, and cracks will always remain. I always believe that you should not walk over other good people's happiness to make your rainbows. This time ARVI will be walking over their family, their wife/husband and their own daughter to make their love story come true. It won;t even be satisfying anymore, cuz the magic is lost and when people have umpteen chances to make it, but they don't and in the end they walk over piles of people to make it, theirs can't be a happiness you can feel happy for. It is like Kabhi Alvida na Kehna. I did not have sympathy for SRK and Rani. Even though they never had the chance before to opt for each other. Arjun-Purvi HAD that option and if they stil lwalk out on marriage, they will not be respected in my eyes.

Ofcourse still love RD and Asha and can't wait for tjem to do a new show with them as leads THAT DO NOT SEPARATE! :):) :) They also deserve better than this pathetic story line.

Glad to see honest views from ARVI fan..I liked your post because it adresses all the issues ...even your slight sympathy for Ovi...I used to love arjun and Purvi as a couple too, but post wedding, they just fizzled out...and by simply showing flashbacks of their scenes does nothing to erase the immoral behavior! Reality is reality...and now that both are married, who is stopping them to walk out on their respective spouses? It's not like some of us are starting a petition to keep the 4 of them glued in their marriage :P LOL. In fact ARVI petitions are going answered by the CV's except fro these dangling carrots in each episode...Fans can feel fulflled by watching flashbacks, and reminiscing of what once was...while in reality, purvi hugs Onir to comfort him and Arjun hugs Ovi. :P lol lol.

But yes, thankfully there are more objective people who can distinguish between love and foolishness! :P thanks for your post

My dear,

It was so good to come back here after a while and find this lucid, totally and harshly lucid, and absolutely comprehensive post mourning the passing of the Arjun, and to a lesser extent, Purvi whom we loved/ And also having these dismal changelings in their place.

There is not one sentence in this post that I do not agree with, 100% and more. The parts @blue and exactly what I have come to feel, and which I have been occasionally writing about on these same lines, and probably making myself very unpopular with those still hanging in there and rooting for this distorted pair of characters to get together again.

In the process, some of them actually wanted/want Ovi and her baby to die, and Onir as well, so that their beloved Arjun and Purvi will have the path back to each other nice and clear. More than the desperation of such scenarios, it was the utter cruelty and the lack of simple humanism in these posts that shocked and depressed me. It is this kind of "I want what I want, and those in the way had better step aside or be run over" attitude that leads to the kind of awful stories one reads in the papers daily: rejected boyfriend stabs girl, throws acid on the girl, shoots her husband at the marriage mandap, and so on and on. That was real and this is virtual, but the anger and the blind hatred are the same.

Once again, congratulations on a splendid post, saying it like it is, and not like so many here would like it to be.

in this show full of muck this was an absolute delight to read. you are bang on objective and mature in your analysis. despite being unmarried your post shows more understanding and respect for the family unit and marriage than these juvenile cvs of pr have. kudos to you! enjoyed every sentence.
