It was a hot day at Kumbh Mela. Ahemji strode purposefully through the crowds. His eyes searching for the one. He looked until his eyes grew weary but still he searched. Reaching the waters edge he had no option but to enter, fear clutching at his heart.
As he turned to go back towards shore he felt his fear intensify. He looked down and froze with fear. His beautiful white dhoti had got wet. Not only that but it had got transparent. For a moment he panicked and hen he saw her. A vision in pink and white and she was running towards him. He stood waist deep in the water and held his arms out to her.
Sherry ran towards him with a shawl. In slow motion she looked elegance itself. She reached him and held out the material. Thankfully he wrapped it around him and then scooped Sherry into his arms and swung her around. He looked deep into her eyes and droplets of water fell on her face. She closed her eyes, not wanting the moment to end.
She looked up and sighed. That shower fixture always drips. And did Xari have to bring her back at that exact moment? 😡
