Today was an awesome episode. 😛 Setting aside the fact that Rashi will be 'redeemed' in the coming episodes, watch the episode for its sheer brilliance in execution. 😊 Hats off to the team as a whole first👏 An awesome job. Loved the editing and the direction and of course the portrayal by the cast. ⭐️ The shots of the Kumbh with the shots taken most probably in Mumbai.. Unless you watch carefully it is not even apparent because of the drama happening on screen😊 Well done team👏
So to the episode. It was action packed. Gopi as usual gets to play a good Samaritan for a boy who is lost in the crowd. I take back my words. Gopi did think of going back to her family but she is unable to as the boy seems intent on finding his parents.
Gopi lost her parents, not in the Kumbh but still her heart seems to see how the child is feeling. Her calm assurance that she will stay with him until she finds his parents is real kind. More is her way of going towards the mandap that does announcements.
Fortunately for the kid, his mother is right there and hence they are reunited. Gopi is thanked. All through this, Rashi as usual cribs and looks disinterested. She acted her part as the cribbing SIL while the others played their part as usual. Koki is worried and also in her worry, a little angry for Gopi getting lost. The others are worried. The best was Ahem who seemed really helpless and wants to find his wife. Nicely done.😃
They find Gopi finally near the same table where the announcement is made. Gopi joins her family back and she looked relieved. Koki chides her for not coming to them immediately but there is love behind that anger and I think Gopi knew it too😳
So they decide to link hands and as usual Rashi wants to show her anger at Gopi. The best part was the fact that Gopi did not look shattered. She was put off but she moved on quickly.
After that what happened is what usually happens in places that have so much crowd. Gopi gets separated again and the family notices this only when they reach the water. Rashi immediately goes into self preservation mode... (Yeah.. She was more irritated at Gopi getting lost and making trouble for her than actually worry for Gopi😛 Perfect Rashi. and the CVs want us to believe that she is a concerned sister just because Gopi is drowning.. What a joke🤢)
Koki does question Rashi and to avoid more questions Rashi insists that she will also help search for Gopi.. Here Gopi is pushed and shoved and also manages to fall into the river/sea and starts drowning.
I may sound a little lethargic but to be frank, the chants in the background, Gopi drowning, Koki and the family praying, JiHem searching for Gopi were all very dramatic. I loved the way they did this.👏 Inspite of knowing how this is going, I am still very excited to see the episode tomorrow.That was how powerful this scene was.
A shout out to Dev though.. She used her eyes well and showed the dear of drowning very well.. ⭐️
So as she drowns the rudraksh mala comes off from her neck. Here Jigar goes to the announcement table, leaving Rashi to search on her own. Ahem who is worried and is searching does almost manage to hear Gopi, only to turn when she has disappeared , being pushed into water. Well done scene again👏 (Actually, this scene was so good that it kept the thrill alive as you watched)
Rashi encounters her 'baba' again but manages to scare him off herself and then she notices the mala. She decides that it is Gopi's (don't know how. 😕) and calls for Ahem and Jigar and realizes that she is alone and Gopi does not know to swim..
Well, by the looks of it, chances are that Rashi sees Gopi comes out one last time for air and decides that she has to save her. As I said, however the CVs want us to believe, for me, Rashi is just doing this to save herself. She was until the final few seconds irritated at Gopi for making trouble for her by getting lost😲 than for Gopi herself. Don't tell me sisterly love comes out only when she sees other's dying.. I would rather not have a sister in that case🥱
My take is, watch the episode for its execution. It is extremely well done and holds you captive. Forget about what will happen tomorrow and just take it for today. The team has done an extremely good job👏
Things to note:
1. I expected this out of Kinjal and I think she has a valid reason. Kinjal found Dhawal and Falguni in an embrace on her bed. After what they have pretended till now, I think she is right to suspect Falguni's intentions. After all her relationship is on the right track and she is fighting to make sure it remains that way. The fault is Falguni and Dhawal's this time. They should draw a line in their friendship. BTW, it reminded of the Ahem-Anitha fall😆 Wish Gopi had done what Kinjal did. Rashi would have never tried another KK if that had happened.😉
2. Aww. Meera.. Placing her head on Ahem's chest as he held her.. She is just too cute for words.😳
3. Ahem and Gopi's hug😳 Aww.. Why is Gopi after Rashi.. Look at the love her husband and her MIL shower on her.. Gopi should just forget Rashi and concentrate on this beautiful relationship😊
So whatever happens tomorrow, I am going to take this one episode which formed the highlight for me this week. Amazing portrayals and for once a beautiful execution. Well done SNS team👏
