ZeeNews- GC's 'Hong Kong' gift for Debina

New Delhi: They have such a busy schedule that they hardly get enough time together and to compensate for that TV actor Gurmeet Choudhary decided to gift a holiday in Hong Kong to his wife Debina Bonnerjee, who loved it.

"The life of TV actors is very busy and if both husband and wife belong to the world of TV, it becomes even more difficult to spend time together. It's very rare that we get to spend some quality time together," Gurmeet said.

"This time I wanted to plan a special surprise for Debina and what better than our wedding anniversary. We were looking for a beautiful destination nearby India and what better than Hong Kong? It's short haul, very beautiful, a shopping hub, Debina loves shopping, and very, very romantic," he added.

After dating for seven years Gurmeet and Debina tied the knot on Feb 15, 2011. They first met in 2004 at a Mr & Mrs Bollywood event. Later they played Ram and Sita in 'Ramayan'. In 2009, they decided to marry.

In fact, Gurmeet spoke to Debina's parents when he was doing a reality show 'Pati Patni Aur Who' with her.

Currently Gurmeet is seen in daily soap 'Punar Vivah', while Debina is busy with 'Chidiya Ghar'.

Of course, Debina, 29, thoroughly enjoyed the Hong Kong trip.

"It was the first time we went to Hong Kong and celebrated our anniversary there. We also experimented with food. I went mad shopping. There were so many street shopping options and it was just so exciting," said Debina.

"It was like getting remarried all over again. We re-lived the special day in our lives all over again. The holiday was a gift from Gurmeet and I loved it," she said.
