So, I just watched part of the episode of saraswati chandra...I am planning to watch all the episodes from the start tomorrow...but can some1 please give me a 1 paragraph summary of the story, like what's happeneing?

Saraswatichandra is son in nandu who lives in Dubai. Nandu is married to gumaan who was a bar dancer. Saras is a very religious man Who is still haunted by the thoughts of his past and mothers death so spends less time with his dad because his dad did not treat his mother well. Nandu arranges saras marriage with kumud in India.

kumud lives with her large family, kumud agrees to the marriage only by seeing saras eyes. But Saras sends kumud a letter that he has rejected her. Kumud gets upset and challenges him to come to india and reject her in front her dad. Saras arrives in India, kumud refuses to show him her face.

Phew, so at the moment this is what has happend.

saraswatichandra aka saras resides with his father and step mother in abroad (dubai) he is a decent guy who is both rich in modern and spiritual values..he is not close to his father nor his step mother...misses his birth mother very much has some undisclosed issues with his father...Saras's father on his 50th birthday decided saras to get married to his best friends daughter kumud sundari who is an independent girl (same like saraswatichandra in values) who resides in india (ratnanagari gujrat). But Saras is adamant and is not willing to marry kumud he does not even looks at her pic becoz he thinks that his father cannot make his life's important decisions like this for him. On the other hand kumud without completely seeing his face agrees to marry him coz its her father's dream and also coz he finds somthing strange in saras's eyes...ssras writes a letter to inform this to kumud and kumud is heartbroken after reading the letter...in a rage she tells him to come to India and say that by himself to her parents...

He reaches India but NOW Kumud is adamant and is not willing to show her face to him and sends her sister on behalf of her
