Call me a glutton for punishment, but I am so ready for Tanveer to come in and shake things up! I was wondering how they'd kickstart the next phase in Asad and Zoya's relationship, because until now, the two of them have only really seen each other in one light, despite their deep attraction to each other. Zoya trusts Asad too much, and so far he's taken that trust for granted. And Asad is blind to his desire because of his blind faith in tehzeeb.

An intoxicated night where barriers come down, fighting in the morning, separating paths, and then Zoya getting into an accident on the same bus that Tanveer is on and Asad not going to her, but to Tanveer? That's exactly the kick they both need.

Zoya needs her faith to be shaken and to realize that she's fallen in love with Asad- he's not just her pillar, but her humdard, her jeevansathi, and that she loves him. Because she still doesn't know. And Asad needs to realize how strongly connected he's become to this "unwelcome guest" of his and that as wacky and crazy as she might seem, her heart is in the right place and that she's the right person for him, despite the image he holds inside of him of the perfect woman (which he will see in Tanveer)

I say bring it on! They've done a good job so far balancing the gudiya factory story with the developing relationship of Asad and Zoya, but I've definitely been feeling that something had to happen to move their love story forward and this is it. :)

Exactly! She's gotten too used to Asad and even though she gets him (as we saw in the coffee/biscuits scene) I don't think she sees him as a human yet, he's still not quite real to her. This will most certainly change that, though.
