Tajdar Amrohi Says I Haven't Sold The Rights Of Pakeezah To Meera
Late filmmaker Kamal Amrohi's son Tajdar Amrohi has denied that he has given the remake rights of his father's 1972 Meena Kumari-starrer Pakeezah to Pakistani actor Meera. Meera had recently said that she has purchased the rights to the classic and wants filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali to direct the movie. "I haven't sold the rights of Pakeezah. Maybe I'd commit such a blunder if I go insane," Tajdar was quoted as saying in a tabloid.
