Sorry TM if I'm going to make a long reply. You have presented a long unfulfilled desire of mine, to list my favorite scenes. And in a way it is giving me a chance to say a farewell to SidYusha's AnSh, who wont be on my screen from tomorrow but'll be in my heart forever.
There are many of my fav. but I especially find myself going back to these pre-marriage ones. My dear AnSh here's to u...❤️❤️ while i go... 😳
1. When Shiv goes to Anandi's school, Its the first time his expressions are so relaxed. He teases Anandi for not carrying a watch around...CUTE... and later when Anandi refuses his help and then walks away we see him looking at her, you can sense his interest in her has piqued.
2. During the exchange with Heth Singh, we see Shiv get protective about Anandi for the first time. After he bajaos Heth Singh and turns to find Anandi there he tries to shield her from the ugly exchange. When she walks away his contemplative face is worth a watch.
2. When Aashima goes to haveli for dinner . The aarti sequence when Shiv is looking at her with so much feeling and Anandi cant resist from looking up. Then the pehle aap, pehle aap moment...SWEET...and finally at the table when Anandi speaks about Indian marriages, Shiv's face going all... WOW. He is totally bowled over by her talk. And when he says that "Your magic is working on her" his lingering gaze says actually its working on someone else.
3. When Anandi accompanies Shiv and Aashima during Aashima's shopping trip. Aashima captures Shiv and Anandi on her camera. The look that Shiv has on his face throughout that conversation is very interesting. You can feel he is on the verge of falling for her but still has not taken the plunge, a hint of aloofness. But the moment their fingers graze as Anandi tries to get her duppatta free from his watch, you can feel that plunge has started. I absolutely adore that moment when he gestures with his head as if saying "This is how u get the watch strap to open." And Anandi putting on a smile that "finally this awkwardness is over, lets go..."
4. The 'champi' scene. The bubbly Anandi peeks through and Shiv is so mesmerized by the care she is showing for him.
5. The sagai dream sequence. A glimpse at what could have been ...SIGH.
6. The 'towel' scene. We get a glimpse at 'natkhat' Anandi and then an equally 'emboldened' Shiv.
7. The scene in the car when they are to visit the CM. The way he persuades her to feed him from the dabba. All his facial expressions are so drool worthy. And when Anandi looks at him knowing his trickery "Thari shararat sab jaanu main..." Later when they are stuck in the rain. Shiv looked absolutely dashing in the black shirt. And the quiet pleading in his eyes asking Anandi to place her trust and hand in his blew me. Then we have the entire exchange after that, which was just oozing chemistry.
8. The Diwali gift scene. Just loved Anandi's eagerness to see what Shiv had planned for her. They both looked so much in love. (Though Anandi did take a looong time to realise it.) The way they r looking at each other is totally 😳😳😳And the background score just heightens the entire experience. I get a feeling of bliss watching this one.
9. When Saanchi and Shekhar family go to haveli for dinner. Shiv sneaks into Anandi's room and when he realizes she too won't be happy not meeting him, and Anandi's flabbergasted moment... as if saying "How did u know?" Followed by their silent conversation. Its such a lovely exchange when he says he doesn't want to leave and Anandi is mildly outraged.
10. After being released from custody when he visits the haveli. The longing they have to be in each other's company is so palpable. When he says "Okay I'll leave now." Anandi looks so sadly at him...awww...
