Om Shanti OM Japanese trailer and posters

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Om Shanti Om, one of the biggest blockbusters of 2007, is all set to release in Japan on March 16th 2013.

A source from Eros International tells us "Eros is currently planning the marketing strategy for Om Shanti Om. The film will get the widest release for an Indian film in Japan. Farah Khan (director) will visit the country in the first week of March to promote the film."

Asked if SRK and Deepika will be a part of the Japanese premiere, the source says "That would depend on their dates. If they have prior commitments, the lead cast might not be present"

Other dignitaries and VIP's that attended the exclusive dinner included Mrs Sonia Gandhi, Speaker Meera Kaul, Pranab Mukherji, SM Krishna, MS Ahluwalia, LK Advani, Dr RK Pachori, Mukesh Ambani and Japanese delegates.

The Japanese Prime Minister and his wife are presently visiting India and are huge fans of Bollywood. They liked Deepika a lot in her debut film, 'Om Shanti Om' and were extremely keen to meet her. The Prime Minister's office then called the actress and asked her if she would like to come to dinner. Deepika, who was shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's 'Khelenge Hum Jee Jaan Se' in Goa, readily agreed and took a day off from shooting to attend. The A-list actress wore a stunning Manish Malhotra saree to the event.

In commenting about the evening Deepika says, " It was a privilege and honour for me to be invited to this dinner. I was excited and nervous at the same time. It was a very special evening for me.
