Impressions:Chauvinism with heartbreaks and amends...

The noose tightened around his neck yet the truth still didnot escape his lips...
The resolve of male chauvinism in Amit is made of stronger stuff..The family was out with the bayonet of matrimony for him... there was no middle ground..

He had to say yes to one of the two lifelines... Snehal or Amita... errr...correction the life line which was supposed to connect with Snehal had already conveyed...u are trying to enter into a no entry zone😛 look at an alternate route...

The new route offered was a short rather plump Ms.plain Jane...( read amita)...😳 The white angel of conscience said pass it over dude!Not worth the effort..

The devil of ego gave a snapshot of the pretty purrfect Snehal saying" I rejected him..."
Needless to say the devil in the guise of stubborn prudishness won...

Male pride thus furled it's flag high...the life long 24/7adjustment with an unwanted partner seemed like nectar in the face of being a butt of pity...
Men will always be men... Crowing the song of I am obstinate of the first order...😆

Oblivious on the other end is the cherubic cute young lady Amita with her dreams and excitement of sharing the fetish for chocolates with Ranbir Kapoor.. Would there be even a half of this smile on her lips when she learns that her dreaded acquaintance and would be bethroed Amit too is fond of it..

Bapuji is unusually happier than he permits himself to be. Amita still has a chance to be married into the family of rich and respectable Shah's..He is the usual old school who doesnot understand the logic of awaiting for your drop dead gorgeous, romantic, humorous,caring partner. He and his wife ,his son and DIL have been happily married without fitting into these slots... so why cannot Amita do the same? well ! this is generation gap,that we all keep hearing about...

How does it feel to loose at the finish line? No one knows it better than Phalguni... She has lost again to Tina in winning the bragging rights of My bahu is the best...

Batuk did sell the concept of a potter's clay i.e. Geeli mitti to Amit. He gave our hero the lovely incentive of having the first hand oppurtunity to customizing Amita into his perfect girl..jaise Ladki nahi Ferrari ki car hai...

Amit is a good stock broker who is able to feel the pulse of the market but a poor seller of hope who tried to hard sell Geeli mitti ka concept to his mom..
Wrong things said at the wrong time are disastrous was learnt by Amit Shah. Phalguni failed to see the merit in his words.. So the coldness between mother and son is here to stay for some more time...

Sunshine.. very well penned down. exactly what I wanted to say after Yesterday's Epi. 😊

Male Chauvinism attitude of Amit was highlight of the whole Epi.

As I said earlier too.. He couldn't aceept the rejection. He can't face it as rightly said by Batuk & hence, the guy was blaming Amita.

Yesterday's Epi made it crystal clear.

How the Guy jumped off from sofa when he imagined the truth about Snehal rejecting him coming out.😲

and then his line to Sanjay "Amita mujhe reject karegi? wo snehan nahi hai.. wo mujhe reject kar hi nahi sakti.." 😡 what the hell was that.. you typical Male chauvinistic pig.. 🥱

He thinks too highly of himself that Amita is not in position to reject him. 🤢

I so want to someone to hit his head hardly & make him see some sense. The guy needs serious strangling. 😆😆 Either Batuk or I want Aarti to do that. 😉

On a serious note, I seriously want writers to address this in future where he realises how wrong he was.

hi Sanchi... I was mentioning that Amit's pride was the reason he donot let his family know of the entire truth on Snehal's fiasco on my thread " Did Amit do wrong?" on Saturday... Had a lovely discussion with AKA members to on it.

Amit is for a rude awakening when he gets to know Amita had rejected him so will be the case with Amita too...A hurdle which both of them have to get past to let old issues rest... but this truth might create a further divide between Amita and the Shah family members...

Both Amita and Amit need a reality check😳..They are both good yet have their quirks... I love the pair because of their flaws...The detailing of the characters is awesome... And the acting by Nishad is fab too.. He is making us get angry on Amit...Good going Nishad!
