I'm pretty sure it's not an engagement, Let alone one involving Asad. Here is why:1) Asad is not aware of his impending "engagement" if there is one. As much as he loves his ammi, i don't think he would jump aboard that ship if someone sprung it on him as a surprise. Totally not his character.2) Haseena mentioned it's a Kuran reading and that she was invited to it by her sister-in-law.3) We're shown it's nothing fancy like an engagement in the precaps. Every one is dressed all sober 😊
