I wanted to share a true story that I came to learn about. My friend at work, her sister got married some 20 years ago to a guy she fell in love with. Both were in love with each other a lot. But after getting married and when she was pregnant, her husband started ill treating her, not caring etc.

She gave birth to a girl and they went thru' divorce. The husband was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago. The only person that helped him with his treatment and was there at the hospital was his ex-wife (my friend's sister). She was there as a human and who once shared life's most intimate moments with.

The guy passed away with her at his bedside. The daughter is now grown up and has come to the US for Master's studies.

My heart went out to the daughter. But I could related so much after watching this show especially to Aarti's divorce and Prashant's cancer.

Just wanted to share with you all. I love this show and I love the storyline and the matured leads.

This comment goes out to people who thought PV was unrealistic at the time of Prashant's cancer track. PV is a way to appeal to people's lives and show them that these things happen. CVs are never unrealistic. They always know what they are writing. Whatever they write has a social message behind it. There were people who bashed PV at the time of this track saying these things do not happen in real life. The post maker's [need your name] story proves the fact that PV is real. Your story just makes me love PV ten times more. Thanks for sharing your story.

😃

Name please?

Thank You for sharing that. This is one of the things that have attracted me to this show immensely. Yes it is a drama and so has to show all the dramatic stuff to keep itself afloat on TV but for the most part it has so much realism weaved into its story, its characters, their emotions and reactions in various situations. There has been number of times when I have sat up and said OMG I have done that!

@guruandkratz, unfortunately one of the most important personality trait one needs while watching any of Mittals shows is patience. Those who don't have that, are quick to trash the show as unrealistic and what not. But those have the patience to watch the story unfold, will be able to see the growth in characters as well as the story.

Punar Vivah Team has obviously done indepth research in this very sensitive subject to bring out the reality in life and it is always enlightening to know when one hears about such true stories like yourself - thanks for sharing with us - it gives confidence to the audience that they are watching a mature and real show and not a fiction.
