From its quiet beginnings, Kaali Ek Punar Avatar has since become the subject of inexplicable fascination to many passionate fans. Perhaps the early promos failed to garner adequate attention that it is truly deserving of, but it seems unfair to cut short the fate of a show merely based only on the popular ratings compared to other shows. To sacrifice the original inception that drove the show into its light, the idea of the power of woman, struggling single-handedly against her oppressors, a simple but essentially lucid idea sketched out nicely in the promos (i had no prob with them) and KEPAs humbler beginnings, is a wonderful unique idea hitherto not explored on star tv, dealing with issues of corruption, is no light or trivial matter, and unlike other current star tv shows (exclude veera) that revolve around petty everyday nonsense of upper class( tyaagi is upper class but this is relevant to the idea of power abuse of the rich), it stands in a unique position, for there is a shortage of such serials on star plus that openly, sensibly n realistically tackle darker issues of crime, oppression, corruption so forth. to just brush away the requests and needs of individual fans who have been religiously following the unfolding of such a serial:; all because of quantity over quality,(which certainly does not reflect the quality of a show) for glory's sake, or glamour, other stuff of the mediocre kind makes absolutely no sense and just feels like one immature popularity contest between star tv shows.
Atleast with the new recruits in Kaali, one would have assumed that this would suffice to keep the show on a roll considering the obsession with popular leads? So it surprises me that the show is still hanging on a fine thread. Kaali has barely begun to scratch the surface, it certainly deserves the time and space to fully flout to the possibilities it could be. There are some characters on this show:, Vaani silently dignified role bears sharply in contrast to dogmatic but unnerving character of Rkt, Raajneesh calm disposition also compares strongly against the family of hot-heads living in Tyaagi palace and has become quite amusing to watch. I have my own preferance of a character who has instigated a lot of curiousity in his fans, but won't go into it here
To all fans of kaali, use this space to reflect and explain why Kaali needs to be kept, your opinions are welcome but please try and keep the focus on the show in general.
