Remember the promo where Pintu had red roses and was walking towards Krishna with them but at the last minute gave it to the girl next to her. I already had a story in my head for that scene but hadn't gotten around to writing it yet but I was thinking about VD and prishna and what I was going to do for them and got a brainwave and this OS than suddenly had a little VD romance to it and I had to write it.
Pintu was in the middle of a road totally furious wanting to kick his bike which refused to start and thinking to himself that this was all that Krishna's fault. For the very first time Pintu Singh had lost a bet and had to listen to the taunts of his friend one even had the audacity to say that he Pintu Singh was afraid of that Miss BDO. He ran his hand over his head in frustration and for a second he wished that was true he would have actually preferred to fear her than have those weird feelings cascade through his mind every time he saw her. Today was valentines day and he normally didn't care about it actually he hadn't even remembered it until he came to the coaching centre and as soon as he stepped of his bike girls started coming up to him and offering him red roses. He had embarrassing taken them whilst his friends sniggered and after he had gotten a bunch throw them to one of his friends and went back and slept on his bike forgetting their existence. As he pretended to be asleep he couldn't help but think about Krishna and wondering what she would be doing today. He sat up immediately wondering why he would think about her and than he heard his friends laugh and say that they wonder who would give the nerd roses today and he had immediately given them an angry look and they stopped. As he turned away from them he saw Krishna walking into the coaching centre and he couldn't take his eyes of her she looked simply beautiful today and in that moment felt like he could have looked at her forever. She was laughing and talking to her friend and he was totally taken aback he realised that he had never seen her laugh or smile before and she just looked enchanting and he started to smile. He got up and walked to her and as she smiled he touched her face gently and she looked at him and as she did he went closer to her and bent his head to her and their lips when inches away from touching hers. When his friend shook him and asked what was wrong and he realised that he had been dreaming and wondered what the hell had just happened to him.
One of them came up to him with the bunch of roses and said we took a bet and said that they decided that one of them was going to give Krishna the roses and wish her happy VD. The blood completely drained from his face and he felt an anger so intense at the thought that some1 else besides him would give her something today that his hands moved to punch his friend but instant of his hands contacting with his friends face he found the roses in his hands. After the initial surprise he realised than that his friends had picked him to give her the roses and he was immediately repulsed he didn't want to give her roses that some1 else gave him especially as a bet and was about to throw the roses on the floor. When one of his friends cockily said if u dnt feel up to it I will be willing to give them to her and was about to take them away from him when he pulled his hand away and turned to go her.
He turned and as he walked to her their eyes found each another never breaking contact and it was like they where in their own world her eyes where so pure and innocent and she looked so beautiful that he was lost in her. But as he got closer to her the roses where like a weight on him which he wanted to be immediately rid of and so at the last minute he gave it to her friend instant he didn't even know whether she was a male or female. But than he was totally taken by surprise as he saw that krishna hadn't even flinched and it was like she didn't even care about him and this had hurt him that somehow whatever it was that he was feeling for her she didn't feel for him.
Krishna was walking to Chanchal's school to pick her up she had finished early today and she could have gone straight home coz Chanchal wasn't even aware that she was coming for her. But somehow she didn't feel like going home straight away, she didn't feel like company and even though it was a long walk she didn't care. She just wanted to be alone and think about what had happened at the coaching centre actually what had happened she didn't really understand she felt like she had been in a sort of parallel universe where it was just him and her. She had been so happy when she had reached the coaching centre having completed the exams and now the excitement of waiting for the results and to know she would finally be finished and could go out and live her dream made her ecstatic. She had been busy speaking to her friends when she felt some1 looking at her and so she turned to see who it was and than she saw him. He had the strangest look in his eyes as he watched her it was almost like he took pleasure from looking at her and this took her by surprise but as she watched him it was as if she was seeing him for the first time. After all he had done for her she had always known him but somehow it was as if it was the 1st time she was truly seeing him as a young man who was her own age. And as the look in his deepened she felt as if she was going closer and closer to him and at one point she felt as if through his eyes he was touching her face and she had stepped back and had lowered her eyes. Only to find when she looked up again that he was busy speaking to his friends and she had wondered if she had just imagined him looking at her like that. She shook herself and said she must have imagined the look coz why in the world would Pintuji look at her like that but as soon as she removed him from the equation she wondered why she had been having such thoughts about him. And than she saw him coming towards her with the roses and thought he was going to give it to and for just a second she thought she hadn't imagined him looking at her. But when she saw him giving it to her friend she was shocked she dnt know why it hurt seeing him give some1 else roses and she was amazed at how she managed not to show how disappointed she had been and had simply walked away coz it had somehow taken all her strength to do this.
She had been just about to cross the road when she thought she heard Pintu's voice saying that this is all I need to complete my day. Even though he looked extremely angry she thought she better check on him coz after all he had done for her she didn't feel right not going to him. So with all her might she steeled herself to go to him and so when she reached him he had her back to her and so she said Pintuji. At first he didn't answer when Pintu heard her voice all he had wanted to be was angry at her but the moment he heard her voice he felt like he could forgive her anything just to hear her say his name. This immediately infuriated him and so with full attitude asked her what she wanted from him now. Krishna was immediately taken aback by his words and how angry he was but than got angry herself he had no right to speak to her in that manner and she told him so. I just came to check if u where ok and if I could help coz u where speaking to yourself like a mad man and the moment she said those words she regretted it. He immediately came closer to her his eyes full of rage but she refused to be intimidated by him and refused to take a step back nor remove her eyes of his. As he looked at her he said do u have a cell phone and she managed to say no only papa has a cell phone. He than smirked and said do u know how to fix a bike and pointed to his bike and she shook her head and he said than go away. She finally couldn't deal with his rude behaviour anymore so turned to leave and than realised that the reason he was so angry was since his bike was problem he couldn't be with her friend. She shuddered at that thought but to prove that she didn't care she turned and said that she knew of some1 who could help him if he wanted Pintu had immediately regretted his behaviour. If he didn't know what was happening to him how in the world would the nerd know anything about his feelings he knew she didn't see notice anything besides books and he couldn't blame her for whatever he was feeling. So he said who and she said that when papa bike was giving him a lot of trouble that he normally goes to uncle Usman for help and that they could go to him. He said didn't she know his number and she shook her head and that at the moment he has been having problems with his phone so we have to go to him. He stays near to where I stay I can take u to him if he want and he said that would be great but than asked how they would get there and maybe they should find a phone booth and phone a cab. Krishna immediately said there was no need for that and that it would take to long and that they should just go with a tempo Pintu was immediately going to say no when he realised that she probably uses it all the time and said nothing. He paid a street vendor who was selling vegetables to look after his bike and left it while krishna waited for him near a tempo.
As soon as he came he saw that this time he would have to sit in the back since the front was occupied and so he went in first and than held his hand out to help Krishna get in and as their hands met they felt a weird sensation and their eyes met almost as if to ask u also felt it. But than one of the old ladies told her husband that just look what a cute couple they make and told Krishna that her husband was very sweet unlike others and gave her own an angry look. Prishna had turned crimson and Krishna immediately removed her hands from his but neither told the woman that they wouldn't married. Pintu left space for Krishna near the window and she said he should sit near the window since she knew that he wasn't used to being in a tempo and that it was better there. He shook his head and said he was fine and she sat after that as the tempo started to move they tried to not look at each another but every now and than they would find catch each another looking at each another and would turn away with a smile on their face. At one point the driver had stopped so abruptly that to prevent Krishna from falling he had grabbed her to him and had held her. Even though he noticed the ppl around him staring at them the only thing he managed to do was remove his arms of her but he couldn't prevent himself from gently removing her hair from her face and put it behind her ears. Krishna had closed her eyes at one point she hadn't imagined that she would feel safe and secure in someone else's arms and it surprised her but more than that she was shocked at how her body quivered at his nearness. She could smell his perform and she had never smelt any1 who smelt so good before and it was as if she was being intoxicated with his smell. And than to make things worse her senses had never felt as sensitive as it did when he had been removing her hair from face even though not once had his fingers touched her face somehow it felt as if it had. After a while she finally managed to look at him and when did she knew he felt the same way she did and she wanted to hide but at the same time wanted to continue being in the moment with him forever.
Finally the spell they where under was broken when they heard the commotion outside there was a woman who must have been a few months pregnant and who looked a little ill. The tempo driver was asking if any1 had neared their destination and if they would mind giving up their place to the sick lady here. Whilst the other passengers mumbled Pintu and Krishna looked at each another and without a word he put his hand out for her and she took it knowing that he wanted them to get of. But before they could make a move the old lady who had said they where married before said that there was no need for any1 to leave before their destination that the couple at the end was married and that his wife could sit on his lap. They where finally going to reveal that they won't married when another old lady said its ok we know from all the loving looks u 2 have been giving each another that you guys are newly weds so dnt worry about it. The lady than said I really dnt feel well and as the other passengers urged her to sit on him Pintu knew she would never sit on him herself so lifted her up and put her on his lap. Krishna was totally shocked and didn't know where to look as Pintu smirked naughtily. She refused to look at him but that gave him the opportunity to gaze at her at his leisure and he just got lost in her beauty. Finally unfortunately their destination came and Krishna without a word got of him and went out as he followed her as they got of Pintu saw the woman munching on chips and couldn't help put tell the lady he hope that her baby as well as her was going to be ok. The woman dropped her packet of chips and said want baby where u talking about and he started stuttering and looking at her stomach at a loss for words and Krishna who was seconds away from laughing pulled him away.
As soon as they where away from the tempo they started laughing uncontrollable and when they finally managed to calm down he said u also thought she was pregnant right I wasn't the only one and Krishna nodded. But she couldn't but comment on how shocked he had been when she asked what baby your look was priceless and Pintu couldn't help but cheekily smile and say at least I hadn't needed to sit on some1's lap coz of my mistake. Krishna for the 1st time smiled at that and as they looked at each another the atmosphere changed and Krishna blunted out that they had to go and started walking. Finally they where at uncle usman and Krishna told him what had happened and introduced Pintu to him Usman said that at the moment there was no1 in the shop but he would go and get Pintu's bike if they agreed to stay back and they agreed. As they waited Pintu realised that he was getting hungry since he had not eaten the whole day and told Krishna would get something for them to eat and she couldn't refuse since she had helped him out and he owed her and left. He got some snacks and drinks for them and as he was about to leave saw a kid selling roses and he remembered that he had wanted it was Valentines Day and got an idea. He went back to the workshop and Krishna had been cleaning a small table and he smiled at her as he put the things down and she smiled back. They eat in comfortable silence and after they finished the little kid with a bunch of other kids came in and begged him to roses from them and Pintu shrugged his shoulders as if how can I refuse and winked at him when he saw Krishna wasn't looking at him. When they left he stood up and handed the roses to her but neither did she look up neither or take them and she simply said u dnt need to give me them u should give them to your girlfriend. After a few seconds he said he dnt have a girlfriend and if she was referring to the girl he had given roses to earlier not to worry. It had been a bet actually my friends wanted me to give them to u and slowly said that I dnt feel like giving u roses just coz of a bet so I gave them to her. Krishna looked up and she smiled at him and he couldn't help but smile back and than she took them and said thanks they very beautiful and he went back to his seat and they continued staring at each another in silence. After a while they heard Usman truck and both wished he would have stayed away longer. Usman said that his bike had a missing screw and so he had only needed to put it in and his bike was as good to go and whilst he did that prishna continued to stare at each another. And after a while his bike was fixed and he offered to give Krishna a lift and they lift together. For both of them the ride was too short and they hesitated to say goodbye and Pintu finally said that he had a wonderful valentines day with her and Krishna immediately started blushing and without a word left him as he mumbled that next year she would say the same.
