Industry sources insist that after lot of speculations and discussions over various heroines that may suit the role. Filmmaker Farah Khan has zeroed on Kat to be in happy new year.
" Katrina Kaif and Farah have worked together in Tees Maar Khan and share a great rapport. Similarly SRK and Kat worked first time together in JTHJ and their jodi was well received. Also abhishek bachchan who is also playing a important role in the film has been working with Katrina in Dhoom 3. All in all this ensemble under farah's direction seems like a hit."
Though earlier Priyanka Chopra was heard to be the unanimous choice of the makers, as the role was of a maharastrian middle class girl from south central mumbai's chawl.
Something that Priyanka has portrayed very well in Kaminey. However now if Kat will play this role then it will very interesting to see how the usually playing urban chic girl, will perform this kind of role
