i jus wanted 2 state sumit after readin a topic on dis forum wich was regardin dat der is no differance btwn a saree n gown (WELL HELLO) derz a BIG a differance

- first ov all evn duo a saree does show of alot off flesh da most important ting is dat it has a pallu wich covers ur front/chest...
-a gown might not show as much flesh but dis gown dat madhu is shown wearin is bearin her shoulders...
- plus it was bearin her front, wen madhu wears a saree she covers her front wit her pallu wich keeps her covered an makes her feel comfatable...
- wit da gown her front back n shoulders wear bear wich made her feel uncomfatable...
- plus ppl wher watchin her ders was camra rollin, its not a nyc feelin, specailly wen u no dats it been dun on purpose 2 embrss n humilate u... by da person u lovd n u thought lovd u...
- n jus 2 state atleast 90% ov da married indian wemon wear sareez wich bear der bckz n belly bottons
-so wats ur take on dat?

Yes its not about the dress and bare back really it's about how Madhu is being treated and that is too from non other then a man she loved :( poor Madhu...

My first reaction was, why does she feel uncomfortable since its a long dress and blah blah! but I guess as you mentioned its because of the fact that there is a camera rolling and you become the centre of everyone's attention and so forth which makes her feel a bit uncomfortable!
If you think about it dupatta dont really cover anything, but without it women feel incomplete, like they are not fully dressed and so forth, so i guess its part of their culture, it makes them feel complete and so forth!
Nice post btw :D

Yeah Madhu has never bared her shoulders before so I guess she is not use to it.
