Yeah, I found it odd too, but then I realized that's how things worked in the 80s. It wasn't as savvy and crowded as it is today. A uniform and fake batch was enough to convince people that so and so is a cop.

I found the first half tad boring, but the second half was sensational. The camera works and shots could have been better because there are lots of "travel" shots involved and it gets annoying after a while.

The only thing that bugged me: why didn't the two insider CBI officers act after P.K. Sharma hopped out of the Bus? They could have informed Waseem as soon as the bus arrived.

Manoj Bajpai was amazing, super duper stellar. The man is just something else.

Yep..the first half was a little slow. The forced romance slowed down the pace a bit. Actually Ajju's better half didnt need a role bigger than Wasim's better half. She should have been in the sidelines. Infact they should have shown a bit about the other two in the gang of four or given some background on how the four met and started their heists.
The pace really picked up once Ranveer shows Waseem an old file on Sharma. And then there was no looking back.
