A BIG MISTAKE OF MY LIFE...

A SIMPLE WISH...

Once there was a boy who was a painter, a carefree person, fully independent, a happy go living boy away from all the dirtiness of the world, he never cared what others do or think about him, he always liked to be only him. Whenever he saw some girl with a boy, he always thought about his life partner, he had made an image of her in his mind.

One day he was just giving an image to his imagination by making the picture of his dream girl when he saw a shooting star, he had heard that whatever you wish with the shooting star will surely got true and then he thought to test it so he just looked at the picture and wished that if there is a mere truth in this saying so he is wishing that the girl in canvass will become alive and with that he retired to his room.

As he disappeared behind the door, the silence prevailed the whole room, things were still scattered on floor, electronic gadgets were still on when suddenly the paint brush got into the air and shined with a pinching light brightening up the whole room with the lite sparkles in the picture and then again everything went back to normal.

Next day when he woke up in morning he heard some noise of anklets, surprisingly he came out of his room and was amazed to saw his dream girl walking around in his living room. He couldn't believe on his eyes, he had wished for her and now she was there in his living room then he thought no, it can't be true, how could it be possible. He moved ahead a little closer to her and asked that who is she and what is she doing in his house??????????, to which she smilingly replied that he had wished to the stars for her so stars have fulfilled his wish, god has sent her just for him.

On her answer he gave a weired type look to her then he looked at her from top to bottom, she was wearing a maroon creamy lehenge, he thought that may be she has been escaped from her wedding and now finding ways to get some kind of shelter to hide. But something was there which his heart was unable to except but he didn't said anything to her and allowed her to be with him until he got to know everything from her and her reason to came there in his house and for making these type of excuses.

Slowly they started to be with each other, at first he hesitated for some days because of her weired talks and acts but slowly he got to use of it and like that their days started to pass with each other, he actually started to like her but whenever he tries to ask her about her well beings she only replied the same thing again and again that god has sent her on his wish, he couldn't understand that why she was making these type of excuses and why she is not telling him the reason behind her arriving at his house.

One day he entered in his house completely angered, his clients are not happy with his work and was asking something different which he was unable to understand that what actually they want. On the other hand she was completely silent on his reaction, she has never seen him like this before.

He was continuously coping his imagination on the canvas but it was not coming up as per his wish and with that he was getting restless by every passing moment and because of that he had almost finished every canvas available in his home but still he was unable to came up as his clients demanded and when it ended he found some new canvas and his eyes fell on the one with her picture, for a moment he thought that it will be right to erase her picture but he didn't have any option, thinking all that he picked it up and was about to erase her picture when she held his hand and pleadingly reminded him that she is his wish and if he will remove her picture from the canvas than he will loose her, it was decided by the stars but he was not in mood to listen anything so he just ignored her warning and shouted on her not to eat his head and stop her nonsense, saying so he retired to his room with that canvas leaving behind a helpless girl.

He entered in his room and kept that canvas and was about to erase her picture but was unable to move his hand towards it, he didn't knew why but something was their which was stopping him from doing this and somewhere his heart wanted to believe on all her words but how can he believe on the things which are impossible. While shrugging all the thoughts from his mind he moved that eraser on her picture making it again plain and white canvas.

Next morning he woke up and realized that he shouldn't have done that, he shouldn't have shouted on her, he thought to apologize to her, thinking that he came out from his room only to find no one around, she was not at her usual place, he searched for her in living room, kitchen, washroom, outside his apartment everywhere but couldn't found her.

His heart sank as her words ringed in his ear, ''if you will erase it, you will loose me, it was decided by the stars'', what if she was saying true????????, he was just thinking about her when his eyes fell on the note on table, he picked it up and read it which was clearly stating:-

''I know you must be searching for me but I wish you had believed on me, I am going but before leaving I want to say something, please try to respect to the things or the person whom god has gifted you because once you loose something you will never get a second chance to make it again, try to take control over your anger''

He helplessly sat down with that note in his hand repenting for not believing on her words but now he can't do anything except sitting there and regretting.

From that day he always use to sit at his balcony with her picture hoping to see a shooting star so that he can ask her again in his life but as said once you loose anything you never get it back. He had lost her.
