This is how I think the story should go:
Alok overhears Kaya confessing Nitesh's love for her. What if Kaya talks about Nitesh trying to force himself on her when she refuses him and how Gauri saved her. Alok hears this and is unable to bear the shock. He gets a heart attack, collapses and dies immediately. Gauri and Kaya are distraught. Meanwhile Shiv comes home from his little party, and sees everyone dressed in white. The shock on his face. Everyone is crying except for Gauri. She is sitting on one corner, the grief in her heart is so great that she cant even shed tears. Nikila is crying and tries to explain to a shocked Shiv, that it wasn't Gauri but Kaya that Nitesh loved and when Alok heard this the shock killed him. Shiv is beyond shocked and he slowly looks at Gauri who is not crying but her face is simply blank. He walks up to her but he is thinking to himself that how could he have done this. He quickly turns away in disgust. The guilt is eating him alive. Mahen comes urgently to mourn Alok's death.
A few days have passed. Everyone in the house is still mourning. Kaya is continually blaming herself that this is all her fault. She is beyond distraught and Dadi is trying to console her. Nikila is sitting beside Gauri in the bed who is quite and her face is blank, she hasn't said anything since her father's death. Mahen and Nikila tries to make her talk, that she has to cry otherwise this sorrow would destroy her. Gauri doesn't say anything, Nikila is begging Gauri to talk or atleast eat something. Shiv walks in and is depressed. He thinks to himself that this is not what what he wanted. He didnt want to kill Alok. Mahen walks up to Shiv and says your wife needs you. Mahen and Nikila leave.
Shiv walks upto Gauri and sits beside, and hesitantly holds her hand. Gauri jerks as if she has come out of a trance. Shiv is full of sympathy and guilt, and unkowingly a tear escapes his eye. Gauri sees his tear and comes to back to this world, she thinks about her wedding and starts to cry uncontrollably. She is screaming WHHHHHHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, Shiv moves close to her and hugs her tightly and says I am sorry. Gauri is not listening to him but she is crying and her tears are breaking Shiv's heart.
It is night Shiv is still holding Gauri. Gauri has fell asleep in his arms on the bed. The phone rings, Shiv places Gauir gently on the pillow and picks up the phone. He is shocked to hear who is on the phone. He takes the call outside, Shiv yells at him and says this is all his fault. It is Nitesh on the other side, he laughs saying you wanted Gauri out of your life, you wanted me to hurt her, and I did what you told and know you are blaming me. Shiv yells saying that you never told me the whole truth and I never wanted to kill Alok. Shiv yells at Nitesh that he is going to pay for this, Nitesh retorts saying the only person who is going to pay is Shiv when Gauri finds out the truth. Shiv is now shocked and scared, he angrily replies that my family can never find out the truth, they can never find out I brought you here Nitesh. A glass shatters, Shiv turns, Gauri is behind and has dropped the glass of water. All the camera tricks are done, Gauri's face is blank at first and slowly the hatred looks and vehnement killer looks comes in eyes. The camera flashes between Durga ma and Gauri when they are both angry. Shiv is scared out of his wits. Gauri is just looking and feeling more angry and betrayed than she has ever felt before. She slowly walks up to Shiv, Shiv disconnects the phone and steps back seeing the looks on her face.
Now what will Gauri do to Shiv. Beware Shiv you have unintenionally envoked the wrath of Durga Ma your wife.
Remember when Durga Ma cries she destroys the whole world even Shankar Bagvan.
