How much more would Sandhya suffer in Diya Aur Baati Hum

Yet another Safar or actually "Suffer" begins for Sandhya (Deepika Singh). With a lot of melodrama, Bhabo (Neelu Vaghela) finally permitted Sandhya to continue her studies, but only with armour of 3 mistakes. (I have truly lost the count of stipulations laid down by Bhabo for Sandhya till date in this show).
Sandhya had just taken up the challenge, that another twist is added to the tale. Sandhya unearths that Swamiji (Surendra Pal) is deceiving people. She reveals this truth to her family. And guess what??? The ball is again in Bhabo's court and she uses this opportunity to accuse Sandhya for all the mishaps in Rathi family.
Bhabo challenges Sandhya to prove Swamiji guilty or else accept defaming Swamiji as her very 1st mistake. OMG! How many more quiz contests to go for poor Sandhya?
Bhabo's conditional acceptance to Sandhya's education and then challenging her to prove her allegations against Swamiji – I think the production house has gone a little too overboard this time. Bhabo, after having tasted defeat umpteen number of time, still is shown to have the audacity to repugn Sandhya.
This, as an ardent follower of this show, is hard for me to digest. This just reflects that Bhabo's character is too extreme for her apparent intelligence, with inconsistent double standards.
Sooraj's (Anas Rashid) character again as usual, is too docile in putting up with all this nonsense, which makes him as bad as Bhabo, without her excuse of ignorance.
There is no doubt about the fact that Diya Aur Baati Hum is a unique show. It aims to bring about social awareness among the audiences using family drama as the main driving force. Thus an intelligent combination of education and entertainment is served to the viewers.
To maintain interest among the audiences and garner a goodTRP, the production team ofDiya Aur Baati Humhas been consistent in cropping up unexpected twist and turns in their show. This time however, the channel Star Plus and the production house have taken a humongous risk by highlighting such controversial religious issue.
The attempt is well appreciated but seemingly is not well accepted by the audiences and is reflecting in reduced TRP for the show.
We understand that the channel is planning to line up a maha episode for this show where the entire drama is expected to unfold. Let's wait and watch if Sandhya's attempt to prove Swamiji as an imposter will be able to rekindle the lost magic for the show.
We sincerely hope that post all this drama, Bhabo gives away on her 3 mistake pre-condition and finally we as an audience get to view the original plot of the show.
