Unfortunately underrated...

Please feel free to slap me for what I am about to say especially because I'm not a regular part of the forum but I did some catching up of the show as I was away and as much as I loved what I saw in the episodes, the topics in this forum surprised me. I'm not saying criticism is a bad thing, it can be a great source of constructive feedback but sometimes I feel this show is way too underrated by its own fans. Sure no show is flawless but out of the MANY Indian shows I have seen in the past decade, PKD is actually far more sensible and logical than most of them. What's more surprising is that there were more posts about 'random romance' between PaYa on Valentines day or how Disha wasn't up to the mark opposed to how beautiful the actual sequence was. I was someone who disliked their chemistry from Day 1, it didn't click with me but about 40-50 episodes later I started watching again because their friendship chemistry was heartwarming. Now they're going through the transition from best friends to lovers and it's damn right done beautifully. The whole valentines sequence was extremely romantic and I thought their chemistry was sizzling. I've never found them sizzling but this time they genuinely were. In these kind of intimate scenes, you need to be comfortable with each other and I saw no inhibitions between the two actors which was fantastic. The only let down was the title song which IMO is far too weak for intense scenes. Just doesn't work.

I agree..PKDH is more realistic than many other shows I have seen

and not much Kitchen politics...eventhough Sheela mami is evil she always think in large scale not like adding more salt to curry 2 get Pankhu blamed

I really dont wanna see Harish track in a cliched track

I stopped coming and posting in the forum bc I got tired of the comments but im posting something bc of your post. That says a lot. I love you for this. That's all I have to say.

Now I'm not saying everyone just has to praise and praise but frankly this show, PaYa (inc Disha who has improved so much) and the story should be appreciated more than it is. I can't comment on Harish's illness track yet because it's only begun and I want to see how they treat it before passing a judgement.

Hope I didn't offend but trust me this show has far more of a heart & soul than most serials on the idiot box :)

Totally agree with you. She is improving day by day. It hurts when people say she has got no expression. They simply don't realize the limitations o the character of Pankhuri.

Agree with you... I haven't watched the show from the first episode , took me a while getting regular...& than there was no looking back . PaYa & HarTika relationship , pankhuri's bonding with Nanaji has been has been shown very well . I am neither a lover nor a hater of Disha, i think she's doing fine & so is the show. There are flaws in shows , ups & downs. but PKDH hasn't really disappointed , in fact it has live up to the expectations .. whereas , the other show on SP , which was doing so well a few months ago has lost it & the trp's prove it .

You pointed it out perfectly! I was trying to figure out what it was, because some scenes (and very few where Pankhudi is allowed to express emotions) Disha does a pretty good job, but that waas it, Pankhudi's character is limited to a small range of expressions, they should've developed the character a little more so that it would justify the expression (or lack of) slightly better!
