"Hello and welcome all to the Eela Ramani Show. We have with us today, a special guest who is notorious for her past as she is famous for her present. I am talking about the very gorgeous, a glowing-mama-to-be with a keen eye for fashion, Ms. Madhubala Kundra. Welcome to the show Madhu".
Madhu passed a smile with hidden annoyance. She would rather be anywhere but on camera.
"Last time you lied about meeting Rishabh. Would you like to tell us the real reason?"
"No", she kept up the act long enough for Eela to realize it was a joke. "I run from Russia. He find me I weak. He take care".
"Then what happened?", the host pitched in.
"Hold on. I no done yet".
Little moments like these made the crew point out similarities between Madhubala and an actress throwing a hissy fit. Of course, RK was there to remind everyone that they were dealing with a pregnant woman and not Kareena Kapoor. Rishabh's presence helped turn the interview in Madhu's favour. A joke here and there would save Madhu a storm worth of embarrassment. So, RK decided to stay for the entire length of the show.
"We marry quick like in Russia. He very Russian".
"How so?"
"He drink Vodka".
An innocent truth from her side gave way to laughter. Madhu did not try to comedic, she simply was.
"Talk to me about your father's murder, Madhu". She had finally hit Madhu where it hurt the most. But, RK's hands were tied. He had promised a no hold bars interview.
"I", she was stuck at the one word for several minutes. "I killed him and I am not ready to talk about it. Please", tears slid down her cheeks. For the first time in a long time, Eela was sympathetic.
"RK, I will let this promise go under one condition".
"Anything". Rishabh could not see Madhu cry another tear because of his petty professional commitments.
"We get exclusive film of your child after delivery".
"Deal"

Fast forward to delivery date.
The contractions had begun. Madhu packed the hospital bags and Rishabh pulled out the SUV.
"Remember, we are going all natural. No epidural. Stay strong Madhu!"
RK reminded his wife of their well planned medical decisions.
"Aaah", a loud cry of pain was her response to everything now. An aaah to ask Rishabh to tie the seatbelt. Another aaah to turn on nursery music. An aaah and a gentle slap to tell him to keep his eyes on the road.
They somehow made it to the hospital on time. The pain was getting intense;
"The baby would crown any minute now", the doctor declared.
He offered Rishabh to have a look. As RK titled his head to witness the birth, Madhu yelled, "Don't you dare!"
He crawed back to his original seating beside Madhu.
"EPIDURAL NOW!" Madhu flung her arm and freed it away from RK's grip.
"No, don't listen to her. It is the labour pain talking. We decided to go natural".
"Are you mama? No? Then, shut up", Madhu gave RK a death glare. He obliged the needle was in and the baby was crowning.
Like any good OBGYN, the doctor made Rishabh feel needed. "It is very important you hold the leg while we deliver the baby".
Unfortunately, in the excitement, Rishabh forgot about Madhu's stron reflux action. She kick him in the eye just like the first time he tried his luck with her.
A bruised eye and several curse words later, the doctor handed the baby to Madhu. She pullled rishabh closer and handed him the baby girl.
"Find a man like daddy. Jooru ka gulaam". Madhu chuckled and RK nodded at the sight of their warm bundle of joy.
A/N: I am terrible with kids so, this is a no comfort zone. Gets too cheesy for my entry after this point. Hence, goodbye exotic with a heavy heart & precious memories. Make sure to check out The Fault in Our Stars. No, I will not be ending TFIOS anytime soon. Until next time, stay happy :)
