Kumarvardhan is wheeled into the operation theatre after his accident. Vasu-ndhara is with him. Meanwhile, Vasundhara in-forms Yashvardhan about the accident. Ammaji and Yashvardhan rush to the hospital. Alaknanda also comes to know about it and leaves. Meerra sees her mother running out and follows her to the hospital. Kumarvardhan is on his death bed. He lifts his hand, calls for Vasundhara, and dies. Meerra, who has witnessed it all, stands in disbelief and shock. All the festivities in the house are stopped and Alaknanda is made to change to a white saree.
