Episode 200 Discussion: 20th Feb 2013

Congratulations to Team MEIEJ on the completion of 200 episodes. Thankyou so much for a really good story, larger than life characters, brilliant dialogues, acting, sets, ... 👏👏

Now, on with the episode.

It starts with a challenge issued by RK and accepted by Madhu -- in 3 days RK will attempt to make her quit while Madhu promises to work for 30 days i.e. the whole schedule. RK was irritated when she called herself normal. But Madhu was really enjoying using that word for herself, mamooli. Makes it sound as if there is no higher praise. 😊

Trishna and Madhu's conversation. Madhu said she will break her limits now. What will she do? What limits will she cross? And how will this not make her like RK? 😕

Radhaji and Bittooji -- how can you talk about something as important as RK-Madhu reunion in the open? The first thing you should keep in mind always is to ensure that you are in a secluded spot. Radhaji's talk is remarkably similar to what Madhu had told RK after she found out about the love test. Remove all the poison so that love can enter. I share Bitooji's apprehension. Seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

Padmini and Trishna broke their banks for hair styling tools. I just knew that they were going to break. And now on to the war zone. RK is in position and so is Madhu.

Round 1 -- Madhu wins. She has as much knowledge about Bollywood movies as RK. And that throw... RK's chair almost tipped over. But he was impressed. This was how she first won his admiration, and respect. And now she seems to be regaining it. The thrill of the fight is what seems to drive him. The more you show aggression the more he enjoys making you bow down.

Round 2 -- RK wins. Madhu shows her hurt when her new gadget gets broken. But she quickly regains herself when RK taps her. RK used that heroine and the director to create trouble for Madhu knowing that his own are not affecting her. He himself does not know what that poor heroine's name is. I pity her. She's stuck between a sher and a sherni and will become collateral damage.

And now Madhu works for RK. I wonder what he told that heroine. Does anyone remember her name? I am astonished at Bittooji however. How could he so openly sit with Madhu? 😲 And why did RK ignore this? 😕

The precap. Reminds of the champi scene. So more painful memories are in store for tomorrow's episode. But both of them seemed to be upset.

Love guru Radhaji, Take a BOW 😎 what a BRILLIANT idea to unite RK and Madhu 🤢 for 3 days they will take out zehar on each other which will make place for love in their hearts ❤️ one big ehsaan she did , ek bigdail bacha , sorry superstar, dharti par laake...another ehsaan she's doing on Madhu , usko naari shakti ka ehsaas karake RK ke paas bhej diya 😆 Bittuji is acting neutral in all this drama..like this 😳 wonder why she was waiting for 14 years to talk to her son..she should have taken out her and his zehar in 3 days & make place for her love 💔 😕it's THAT easy??? 😕 Bittuji and Radhaji were caught red handed , phir bhi dialogue maar rahe hai 🥱 nyhow, khiladi ne tayyari ke saath maidan mein utarna hai..

Madhu is going to color outside the lines so that RK will learn to remain inside the frame eh? Fundu dialog by Madhu.

Well the gauntelet has been thrown by RK to bhagao Madhu from the sets within 3 days while Madhu's challenge is to stick to her job for the full duration of 30 days.

Radha is playing with fire. One thing I always don't understand is why does Radha and Bittuji convo happen near the stairs. Why can't she take him to the kitchen or her room and then ji bharke plotting karo na. Kisne roka hai. She is providing the fodder to RK so very easily.

I think Trishna has used some of her 20 lakhs ka booty to purchase hair dresser's kit for Madhu to use. How sweet. Both her and Padmini are doing everything to bolster Madhu's courage. Very nice of them to be there for her without feeling pity for her.

Rest of the episode is hair apparent. RK is now encouraging others to insult Madhu. Bichare Bittuji, he is so tense and upset at this. He is stuck between the rock and the hard place. The scene where Madhu has the hair dryer on while RK is trying to speak on the phone is really funny. 😆
By the way, how come the heroine is so dumbo yaar? Does she not know about RK and Madhu at all? eh? What about other people on the set? Woh kya dekh kar undekhe kar rahen hein kya?

RK's dialogues again are fundu. Paida hone ke baad aaj pehli bar tum achhi dikh rahi ho. 😆 That heroine is so clueless. Madhu feels sad that ki uska hatiyar tut gaya. But I did not clearly hear what RK said to Madhu when he taps her on the shoulder. Tum kya ho?


Now he wants to borrow her to style his hair eh? But the precap threw me off. Why did he start unbuttoning his shirt? Or was that juts my imagination? 😊

Mastermind RK who used to make grand and elaborate plans (or so he claimed) has now resorted to childish tactics. The way he kept on insisting that the heroine's hair is messed up, it should have been clear to the director that either he doesn't want the heroine or the hair stylist on the set. Why does RK have to play this game, only he knows. Probably in name of the thrill of the game, he has forgotten that he can just order the production people to fire Madhu. Nobody will argue.

The episode started with a bang, picking up right where it left off yesterday. Sherni Madhu, RK grasping for straws. RK is a classic case of "rassi jalegi par akar nahi jayegi". He has to go on and announce an ultimatum, 3 days. Glad that we have now moved on to the number 3 from 4.

Madhu summed up RK's life just in one line today, the whole mission of a superstar's life is to destroy a normal girl, he has nothing better to do.

Points to note :

• Trishna is still nice and actually being better than I expected. Padmini didn't have much to say today, but the overall ambiance in Malik household is serene and positive. I shudder to think what'll happen when Shamsher comes back. How much cheated and ashamed he'll feel.
• Madhu matching up to RK's dialoguebaazi and throwing back the danda. I wouldn't have minded if she had picked it up like a sword, screamed 'die' and went chasing after RK like a mad woman. I don't know why I keep on imagining her as some warrior woman. 😆
  
• Looks like the entire unit and the 'papita' heroine have been leaving under the rock all this time. 😕They have no idea who Madhu is. So they just scream "hair hair" without any hint of uneasiness whenever they are in need of a hairdresser. This is the first time I'm seeing a heroine who's always asking for hair touch ups but not make up, which she needs desperately.
• Radha disappointed me today. What she said to Bittuji today actually made me doubt what she said yesterday. 6 months of deception and she actually thinks everything will get sorted out in 3 days, and then love will blossom. And whose poison needs to be drained out? Madhu's or Rishu's? She needs to knock some sense in to her son. She needs to ask her son why he did what he did. She needs to tell her son, don't be a jerk to other innocent people. Instead of doing that, she is sending him to fight another battle and hoping for the best! Disapprove!👎🏼
• On the contrary, Bittuji showed humanity and maturity. He also cares for his chief but he knows that one shouldn't destroy an already wounded girl's life in the process.👍🏼
• Loved Madhu and Bittuji sharing lunch today. Speaks a whole lot about their bonding. RK, dekho aur sikho.
• Annoying heroine, annoyingly sucking up to RK, annoying set, annoying script. Why is this movie called Dard-e-Ishq again?🤢

Precap: RK resorting to cheap tactics. That bipolar feeling he is suffering from, one of these days he'll go insane and start pulling his hair out.

the heroine enters 🤣 paita babita 🤣now what is that scene and what is this movie all about? who is she in the movie? RK's wife or girlfriend ? with that dress she's wearing, the crime rate in the police station is likely to shoot up 👍🏼 she brought his lunch ? 🤣 vaise on which part of the planet does she live in? she doesn't know that Madhu is RK's ex biwi?? and the director? he must be knowing?
