Actually more of a rant.😛

What happened today??

Like Klue said in her post, Bani bringing Jai tea with her 'Goodmorning Mr. Walia' looked like room service!😆

I finally decided to watch the episode after reading some positives posts....BUT...really, the episode did not stir anything in me.

The eye locking scene at night was a bit too long....these days the eye locking sessions dont have the magic...I wasnt pleased with the smile of Jai's face but Bani was OK. The only JB gesture that has pleased me in the recent past was where he picks her off the table.

Then the newspaper scene...either it lacked something or it was overdone. Cant pinpoint exactly. Mr. Walia, She saved your property! PROPERTY! Not some fancy watch! And Mrs. Walia, that was PROPERTY that you played cards for! CARDS? It seems so trivial!!

Mr. Walia, the tycoon could save his empire because of a game of cards played by his 17 years younger wife....its too much to digest.

The romance seems too forced...its not fluid. Even the recent beach dinner date failed to impress me.

Just thinking of the golden era brings a smile on my face: The scene where she scolds him (they seemed more comfy with eachother at that time) or the dance at the sangeet (where Jai is in blue).

We've never seen them hold hands! Is that expecting too much of a business tycoon?

And the fact that Bani is looking as young as Prachi, and Jai Walia who had his grays weirdly added right in the middle and looked bulkier, didnt help either.

And what the heck was Jigyasa doing with Rashi? I was infuriated with Rashi-who tolerates so much these days? Especially when you live in the Walia household? Wasnt she the one who once reminded the Sapola that their daughter is with the Chopras, so they better be careful?😕

...............................

Looking forward to some input. Do you guys feel the same as I do? I really wish this show revives...Jigyasa has left...does not make things any better.

...............................

Luv, Jojo

Thats exactly it Jojo. Where is the ROMANCE!?? Its that unspoken connection, that chemistry, that ZING that made the show what it was. We have the same characters, the same families.. and yet...nothing is the same! Between the storyline and folks exiting stage left, we've most def lost that verve as you say. I don't think the show "jumped the shark," as many shows do, when characters come together. Rather, the creatives themselves destroyed what could have been quite a nice storyline. Perhaps they can bring the romance back yet. Jai and Bani surely need a zing to their romance, and some couples therapy -- first and foremost -- kick out the sister in law!!

Great! Atleast two people agree.

I dont mean to be mean but in the morning when Bani came with the tea, I could perfectly imagine her doing this:

'Good morning Mr. Walia. Yeh lijiye aappki chai. (slips her hand into some pocket, pulls out a paper and slides a pen from behind her ear) Toh aaj khane mein kya lenge aap? Chicken fry, Paneer Makhni, ya phir mutton biryani?!'

Enough already! Please, we want the good old days back. Lets just stick to a love story, and throw the secrets, plans, etc etc out of the 6/19 windows.

It absolutley has to do with the direction. The scenes earlier were very well directed but again, I think it has to do with the story and the direction. Who was the guy that directed the show earlier??? I read somewhere that he's not the one doing same now.

And for heavens sake, this story line is soooooo getting on my last damm nerves...THEY NEED SOME ROMANCE WITHOUT HAVING PIA'S FACE ALWAYS INTERCEPTING! Like soapaddict said, first order of business is KICK the sister-in-law OUT!

P.S. I thought the scene was enacted well by Prach and Ram but again, it has to do with the direction and dialogues their given.

Ditto. Why can't the creatives think of showing some ROMANCE between them....I mean, granted they do an AWESOME job speaking through the eyes, but we need some romance man....they could have shown Bani hopping on the bed and hugging him...(here goes my hyperactive imagination again)....some dori tying scenes, some feeding scenes....I will be glad to direct one episode FREE OF CHARGE! 😆

But all the criticism aside, I genuinely feel that their "chemistry" lies in their eyes. 😳

I agree with every single thing you said jojo!!

For some reason, the romance is not exactly striking! It doesn't even seem like romance. It's so forced and awkward!

Ekta's trying her best to come back with a bang but it's not going to be that easy! There are so many unanswered questions and lose ends!

I haven't yet seen today's episode, but going by the episodes from post JP night, Jai-Bani scenes haven't been that great! It truly was sweet seeing them together...but something was missing! It just wasn't the same anymore!

I miss the old Jai and the old Bani!

i 100% agree with you jojo. before i used to die watching jai and bani cute romantic scene. but know romantic scene between jai and bani i find it boring. although there are close but it seems like there are soooooooo far from each other. before they were far from each other but it used to seem like there are soooo close to each other. their love seems like a burden for both of them. thats the impression i get.
after coming back from work the first thing i used to do is turn the computer on, log in to if and read update of kasam se.i used to stay awake uptil 2.30 in the moring waiting for the video to be post. but now i lost the intrest because three is no chemistry between jai and bani. 😡

I agree that the Dubai incident left a bad taste...shadowing their romance BUT I still feel that they convey alot with their eyes. I mean today's bedroom scene (before the gang barged in) for example, did anyone see how they were grinning like idiots??? I don't think they need to jump each other to show chemistry...they do all the talking through the eyes.

Now I admit, I do have a hyperactive imagination but this I CANNOT imagine....someone just tapped into my curiosity by pointing out that Jai was all smiles in the morning and suggested that MAYBE Bani is the raging bull behind closed doors!!! 😆 Well, going by the pictures posted, he was on HER side of the bed when he woke up... 😳

Not in my wildest dreams can I imagine that! Yaar, she's so tiny and innocent!
