Next morning @ Raizada mansion:

Ajith and Pooja where sitting in the hall discussing something. Arnav descended the stairs and went near them.

Arnav: what are you both discussing?

Pooja: nothing it's Anjali's pag phere rasam and we have to bring her and Son in law here. We were discussing about that only.

Arnav: di is coming home?? Great I can't wait to meet her he exclaimed happily.

Ajith: yes that will only happen if you go and pick her up. So hurry

Arnav: I have to go and pick tham up?

Ajith: ya any problem?

Arnav(ST): wow I would get to see Kushi if I go there plus I can bring my di also here. 2 birds in a stone. Who will leave this opportunity. Anyways it has been more than 12 hours since I have seen her.

Arnav's brain: it's only been 12 only stop behaving like a love struck teenager

Arnav's heart: he has every right to do so.

Brain: ya right don't forget she is just a friend

Heart: no she is not just a friend. She is special

Brain: oh really? Don't forget he doesn't believe in love and marriage

Heart: it's only because you don't allow him to fall in love

Brain: stop blaming me. I'm only helping him

Heart: ya by bringing your ego

Brain: shut up. Stop confusing him

Arnav getting irritated with his heart and brain talk.

Arnav: stop it. Shut up both of you.

Pooja: beta where are you lost?

Arnav shaking out of his thoughts.

Arnav: nothing I will leave now.

Arnav started for the Gupta's place

In the meantime @ Gupta mansion:

Sashi and Garima was sitting in the living room.

Anjali came down and got their blessings.

Garima: be happy always beta. Where is Shyam?

Anjali: he is still sleeping ma. I will wake him up after making him coffee

The phone rings in their house and Sashi picks it up.

Sashi on phone: hello. Ya. Ya tell me. Everything is fine. Ya I will inform. Ya you too take care bye.

Garima: who was it?

Sashi: it was Ajith. He said Arnav is coming now to pick up Anjali for the pag phere rasam.

Garima: oh ok ok. Anjali beta come here.

Anjali: coming ma. What's the matter?

Garima: beta wake up Shyam soon and you too get ready soon. Arnav is coming to pick you both for the pag phere rasam.

Anjali: ok ma. I will wake him up now.

Anjali went to the room with coffee.

Anjali: shyamji wake up.

Shyam pulling her towards him what's the hurry.

Anjali: shyamji behave. We have to go to my place for pag phere rasam. So get ready soon.

Shyam: as you say princess.

Anjali just blushed hearing that.

Anjali came down after that and started working in the kitchen

Kushi also got ready and came down.

Kushi: good morning everyone. She chirped happily.

She then went over to Anjali

Kushi: so babhi how was your suhag- raat? She winked at Anjali

Anjali: shut up kushi. She playfully slapped her arm blushing

Kushi: someone is blushing.

Garima came inside.

Garima: Kushi stop teasing her and go Arnav beta is coming.

Kushi's face brightened hearing his name which went unnoticed in the eyes of Anjali and Garima.

Kushi: oh for what? (Kushi tried acting nonchalant)

Garima: to take Shyam and Anjali for pag phere rasam.

Kushi(ST): wow now I will get to see him. Yesterday night he slept off so I couldn't talk to him fully.

Heart: may I know why you are so excited to see him

Brain: because he is my friend

Heart: oh really? He is just a friend

Brain: ya what else?

Heart: nothing keep fooling yourself

Brain: what the hell do you mean by that.

Heart: you very well know what I mean.

Brain: no I don't

Heart: yes you do

Brain: no I don't

Heart: if you say so. But don't forget that truth cannot be kept for too long

Brain: it is the truth

Heart ya right

Kushi's thought process was disturbed by Anjali's voice.

Anjali: Kushi what are you thinking. I have been calling you for so long

Kushi: nothing babhi. Tell me.

Anjali: here is your coffee.

Kushi: oh ok thanks she replied absentmindedly still los in thoughts.

Shyam also came down after dressing.

Everyone were sitting in the living room and talking when they heard the doorbell ring.

Kushi excitedly went to open the door and saw Arnav waiting as handsome as ever.

Arnav also was mesmerized by the beauty in front of him.

Arnav: hi (in his husky tone)

Kushi: hi (shyly)

Both of them were looking at each other as if in a trance

Sashi: Kushi what's taking you so long and who is at the door?

Both of them came back to senses after hearing the voice. They both looked away immediately embarrassed.

Arnav: it's me uncle. Arnav.

Garima: come in beta. What are you doing Kushi without letting him in?

Kushi: who ma she was stammering.

Arnav: it's ok aunty no problem. Not her fault. Where are di and jiju?

Kushi smiled gratefully at him and he just assured her it's ok with his eyes.

Arnav: aunty can you call di and jiju so that we can leave?

Sashi: what's the hurry beta? Have coffee and go

Arnav hesitated for a bit but then the prospect of being with Kushi was tempting so he accepted it anyway

Garima: Kushi go get some coffee and snacks for Arnav beta

Kushi came back with a tray loaded with sweets, snacks and black coffee

Arnav: thanks Kushi but I can't have sweets I have diabetes.

Kushi: I know that's why I have got sugar free sweets

Arnav's eyes widened and his heart swelled with happiness that she remembered about his diabetes and cared for him.

Arnav: thank you Kushi

She just smiled shyly

Arnav then finished the coffee while stealing glances with Kushi. Kushi also was no less and kept stealing glances at him

Arnav: ok uncle, aunty I think it's getting late we have to leave.

Garima called Anjali and Shyam and asked them to come down.

Arnav took his blessings from Sashi and Garima.

Anjali came down and her cupid brain formulated a plan.

Anjali: Kushi why don't you join us?

Kushi: no di my friend Sid is coming today. He went out of town so couldn't attend the marriage. I have to pick him from the airport and both of us are going out for lunch. Sorry.

Arnav's attention got to the name Sid. The one person he hated the most right now. He couldn't let them meet alone. His brain quickly formulated a plan

Arnav: it's ok Kushi why don't you both come home for lunch. Anyways you said he dint attend the marriage. So it would be nice as he could meet di and jiju also there.

Kushi thought for a moment.

Kushi: ok I will pick him up from the airport and come there

Arnav(ST): no I cannot allow them to be alone.

Arnav: no I will drop di and jiju at home and come and get you we both can go and pick him up at the airport.

Kushi: no I will manage. Why you taking trouble?

Arnav: there's no trouble. I insist.

Kushi: but then

Arnav cut her off in the middle

Arnav: no ifs and buts I'm taking you there. Its final. Be ready I will come and pick you up

Kushi: ok (giving up)

Anjali was watching him open mouthed.

Anjali: Shyamji please pinch me(Whispering to Shyam)

Shyam: why what happened?

Anjali: I cant believe it's my chotte. I have never seen him talking like this.

Shyam: I guess he is just being polite

Anjali ignored him as she knows her brother well.

Anjali( ST): oh devi mayya thank you so much. Everything is going in the right track. Now I know Chotte likes her. I'm sure chotte hasn't realized that or will be in denial mode. Here is where I come. I have to make him realize. I hope Kushi too has the same feelings for him.

Arnav: ok we will leave. Bye everyone.

Saying so Arnav, Anjali and Shyam left for Raizada mansion.
