Shiv took a deep sigh..his wife was sleeping peacefully on the bed…he just wanted to lie by her side and to watch her like that…but she was lying diagonally…he can't fit anywhere on the bed…he shook his head n smiled again recalling the whole day events…his wifey was giving him silent treatment since yesterday night…coz he skipped lunch yesterday….n didn't even tell her he had a bad headache throughout the day…and the worst part..he blurt out while defending himself….
"anandi yeh sab chhezen main manage kar leta tha saadi se pehele aap itna kyun paresan horahi hain…main theek hojaunga…aap chinta maat kijiye" and got to see his wifey in super furious mode n her anger filled line..with an unusual disappointment …"achha toh main aapki chinta nehin karun…toh aur kaun karega…itna v haq nehin hai mera" leaving him astonished….thats it…after that she didn't spoke a word to him…last night she fed him dinner with her own tiny hand…massage warm oil on his hair…soothing him to sleep….but didn't speak a word….only glares to sleep well n take care.
Shiv sat on the edges on the bed….caressed her hair….there was a still big pout on her face…but as charming as her…just like on the breakfast table….she made his fav paratha…but didn't speak a word…whenever he tried to talk to her…she just threw an angry look on him but took care of his smallest things like always….
shiv looked at her beautiful face….only one glance can took away his all tensions….he thought once to settle her to make some space for him…but even knowing his wife is a kumvakaran while sleeping…he cudnt dare to do so in the slight fear to break her peaceful sleep. Set his alarm one hour earlier than usual…so that he can wake up early than her ……he took a pillow….went to sleep on the sofa with the determination to manao her tomorrow anyhow.
In the middle of the night anandi woke up for water….n stunned to see her husband was sleeping on the sofa not on bed ..n even without blanket….she instantly went to her furious mode again…then realized she slept diagonally with their one blanket….he had no scope. Anandi smacked herself but still furious that shiv didn't wake her up….she went towards the sofa to wake him up n call him up to sleep on bed…but she cud only adore his innocent peaceful childlike face while sleeping there….She sat down on the floor….caressed his stubble ….soothed his lil tensed brows… she was drown in the guilt realizing he must cud not able to wake her up for the same reason…she smacked herself mentally again being angry with him whole day due to the silly reason…a lonely tear escaped from the corner of her eye….she took the blanket n covered him…sitting down…she felt asleep resting her chin on the sofa edge..
Next morning….shiv woke up…n confused realizing he woke up one hour late than his usual time…his alarm didn't work!!...his jogging time passed too…he freshens up …n went to the hall….and got a cheerful good morning wish by his wife…he stunned to see the usual cheerful anandi…so usual..she was angry last night!!.."yeh kya hua..kese hua!!"…he tried to get…..
"who aapne alaram jaldi q set kiya tha…maine bandh kardi..aap sotey rahe naa…isisliye"…anandi said while arranging the breakfast….he looked at her dumbly…anandi let out a faint giggle seeing him like that…"accha baba…aapki jogging miss hoagyee…sorry…shyam ko jog karlijiyega….ab munh maaat fulayeye…chaliye breakfast ready hai"…
Shiv still in the dumbstruck state thinking whats going on….started eating breakfast….and nodded few times in between to her usual chapar chapar…..
very usual yet unusual….he thought…he came out from his thought when anandi asked him to help him to water the plants…he cud nod only again….
She continued with her chapar chapar in the garden…leaving her husband confused like never before….unable to hold it more…shiv grabbed her hand..and asked "aap theek toh hain..kya hua aapko…kaal aap gusse main thi…maine socha tha aapko mana loonga…par aap ese..gusse ka naamo nisan nehin…anandi…."
Anandi giggled at his words..n replied while batting her eyelids "haan gussa ho ho ke thak gayee main..toh abhi break pe hoon"….n giggled hard….! Shiv stumped at her words…n laughed with her…."achha…achhi baat hai…main darr gaya tha..kahin sarpanch jee meri sikhayat panchayat main na le jayen"…he joked…
"haan dubara ese karenge toh zarur sikhayat karungi….samjhe collector saab…." Anandi joked back at him….both laughed again…..shiv held his ears and said sorry to her….
"anandi …I am sorry….maine apni zindengi ka ek lamba hissa akele bitaya hai…apni higher studies…apni posting k time…main akela hi tha….toh sab kuchh akele sambhalne ki adat si thi…..par THI haan…ab nehin hai…kyunki mujhe pata hai…meri khayal rakhne k liye meri jeevan saathi mere pass hai..mere saath hai….jinka haq hai mujhe pe…aur sach bataun….itni khusi mujhe kavi nehin hoti thi…jab aap meri zindengi main nehin thi….baas ek choti si gujarish hai….aap jab v gussa ho aage se….kuchh v kijiye par mujhse baat karna bandh maat kijiye ga…main bata nehin sakta…kaal ka din kitna vari gaya mera"
..maine bahat sataya naa…. Anandi asked in low voice…
Haan sach…aapne sataya toh mujhe kaal… shiv said naughtily
I am sorry…..Anandi said …shiv looked at her…her eyes were moist…he cupped her face…
Aarey main mazak kar raha tha….aapne dil pe leliya kya…he tried to pacify…suddenly anandi hugged him..wrapped her hands around his chest
Nehin shiv…… maine bahat sayataya aapko ….yeh samjhtey hue…aap itni khushiyan leke aaye meri zindegi main… …meri dil ki haar baat samjha….. mujhe pyaar ka sahi maatlab sikhaya … aap kitna pyaar kartey hain mujhse….main v kitna pyaar karti hoon aapse…phir v….
Anandi's those sobbing lines almost stop shiv's breathing…he forcefully broke the hug as she didn't want to…...held her arms tight…pulled her close….looked into her eyes….n he cud only ask…Kya …kya kaha aapne….
Aapki anandi aap se bahat pyaar karti hai…bahat pyaar…. Aapki anandi ko pyaar hogaya aapse…
Anandi's lines…..freeze their moments…their moments…as if the time stopped there… with no holding back ….with the peak of emotions…with no need of words…with the moist eyes… …..shiv pulled her for a bone crushing hug……
