Hi
This OS is about the time when VirIka were going through a tough time due to Swamini. I hope you like it!

Sign These Papers.

Everyone stood around Swamini's bed as she lay unconscious on her bed. Jeevika stood by the door, silent tears rolling down her eyes. She cursed the time when she let of the biggest secret of her life. She was responsible for Swamini's critical condition. Jeevika gazed intently at Viren. He wasn't looking. The worry and concern for his Badi Maa was clearly evident on his engrieved face. Viren ran his hand through his hair and turned to meet her gaze. Yes her tear-filled eyes were fixed on him, but he successfully averted her gaze and fixed his concerned eyes on Swamini, who lay lifeless oblivious to her surroundings!

The doctor after a prolonged and through examination finally broke the silence. Much to everyone's relief Swamini was out of danger. Everyone heaved a sigh of relief but next moment Viren turned his eyes at Jeevika when he heard the doctor advise Dadaji to keep Swamini away from stress and tension. He was trying to say something. Something which his tongue might not be able to say. Something that would change everything in their life.

Unable to take it any further, Jeevika turned and left the room. Tears still rolling down her as she raced down the corridor to her room. She flung open the door and threw herself on the bed. Her face hidden in the pillows while her sobs echoed in the empty room.

Viren came in the room late in the night. He saw Jeevika had already fallen asleep by then. He knew she was upset and her swollen eyes were enough of a proof that she had been crying since a long time. Viren walked close to her and stood staring at her. His eyes had several unanswered questions.

"Why did you do this Jeevika?" He thought to himself and sighed as he turned to the wardrobe. He took out his night suit and walked out of the room. Jeevika got up when she heard the door close behind Viren. Jeevika immediately got up and leapt at door but before she came out Viren had already left the corridor for Swamini's room.

Dejectedly, Jeevika came back into her room. She never felt so unwanted and despised. This was too much to endure for her. She sat on the couch remembering the first time she had entered this house as a bride. This had become her house. Jeevika did not realize how long she kept up in the night.

Next morning, Jeevika woke up at the click of the door to see Viren entering room with a set of papers in his hand. Jeevika wiped her dried tears off her cheek and got up. Viren walked up to her and handed her out the papers.

Jeevika looked expectantly at the papers, alternating her gaze between Viren and the papers.

"Sign these papers. My decision is final. I don't Badi Maa to suffer any more because of you. "

Jeevika's world seemed to have crumpled in a fraction of a second. Her Virenji wanted her to leave this house, her house. Leave this family, her family. "But.."

"Stop it Jeevika. You have already done enough to break my heart and harm my family. This decision is final. Sign them and I will file the today only so that the process can be done as soon as possible."

"Virenji you can't do this to me."

"And what did you do to me, you ruined everything Jeevika. This is my last attempt. You can't live here anymore. I don't want Badi Maa to relapse again."

Jeevika stood rooted to the spot. Unable to believe her ears. She took the papers from Viren's hand and looked at Viren remorsefully.

"You are my world Virenji. If this is your final decision then I will sign these papers."

She took the pen and signed the papers. Her eyes numb and red, her hands trembling.

Viren looked at her as she put a couple of decisive strokes on the papers. " Is my decsion right?" A question that engulfed his minds. But he probably had no other options.

"Here. If you are happy then I even I am happy. I am going to Rishikesh tomorrow itself."

"No Jeevika. You can leave once all this documentation is done. I want to tell the family once everything is done. Or else they will never agree to our separation."

"Virenji is this necessary?"

"Do we have any other option," saying this he walked out of the room, leaving a shattered Jeevika behind. It had been almost one and half year to their marriage. Over time she had developed a sacred bond with each member of the family. She cherished each of the memories she had of them.

She cried uncontrollably as several memories flooded her hazed mind. Her first day in this house. She was so nervous back then. Her chats with Kaadambari. The motherly love of Vaanshika. The precious advises of Dadaji. Manvi and Viraat's wedding. Shylok's genius and inquisitive nature. She cried as she remembered all the lovely days she had spent with these people.

This was her house. Her home. But not anymore.

It was almost evening. Jeevika had secluded herself from everyone and stayed confined in her room. She stood in her balcony like a lifeless form, staring at the moon, when she felt a pair of warm hand snake round her waist pulling her closer.

He nuzzled his nose against her cold neck. A tear escaped her eye as she held his hand tightening his grip on her waist. She tuned to face him.

"Virenji.."

"Shh. I am sorry. I realized my decision was completely wrong. We are not moving abroad Jeevika. I have cancelled the Visa process."

A faint amile appeared on her pale face. Finally they won't have to move away from the family.

"I know Jeevika, that Badi Maa is upset with you but if we separate from the family and shift to another country this is only going to make matters worse."

"Thank you Virenji. Thank you for not separating my family from me. I know what I did was wrong but trust me I had no other option."

"I trust you Jeevika. That is the reason I decided to move abroad along with you. BBut now I have decided that we will live here only with the family. I wanted to diistance you from Badi Maa but I feel this won't be correct."

Jeevika hugged Viren tightly, her tears staining his shirt.

"Stop it now and cheer up. Badi Maa is much better today."

"I am glad she is. Are you still angry with me?"

Viren smile and cupped her face. Bringing his lips near her's he kissed her. Carassing her lips and tracing them with his tongue. Jeevika responded mimicking his actions. Exploding the passion marking their unconditional love for each other!

I hope it wasn't stupid. Obviously I would never get Virika divorced, so instead I got Jeevika to sign the Visa document papers. If you have any confusions then ask me. Do leave your comments and likes!
