both were nominated in the same year.

I admit Asin was good in Ghajini(her only good movie). But i somehow feel that anu deserved the award.(though i don't like her)

that's because Asin was already an actress. A big star in the south. She was doing the character for the second time whereas for anu it was her first film.

Anu's role seemed more complex to do than Asin's .

Yet i don't think that she got a single award for rnbdj.

Hard to say but id go with Asin just because I liked her character more even though as you said she did the original role in the south..

anu debut was good too and her bubbly character was sweet .but omparing both overall Asin had te edge and more challenging role

Definitely Anushka Sharma.

As much as I liked Asin in Ghajini, I liked Anushka better in BBB and As well as in later movies. While for Asin, I can't say the same...

Edit: I forgot Anushka's first movie was RNBDJ! 😆 I was comparing Asin's Ghajini to BBB instead. If comparing to RNBDJ then definitely Asin!!

Asin was mind-blowing in Ghajini where as Anushka was just okay in RNBDJ. It is another story that Anushka was too good in BBB and Asin didn't really do much thereafter.

Sorry but Anusha was too OTT in her first movie even in BBB her character annoyed me Ranveer soled the show for me. So I voted for Asin on this she give a natural performance in Ghajini a very well deserving best debut award 👏
