Part 9:

He was fulfilling a wish.

A wish to see her happy.

A wish to make happy.

A wish to see her moving forward in life.

"The first step is done, now I am one step near to your dream" the man said to himself and disappeared from there.

"Mr. Khurana, she is Ms. Geet Handa who will be handling our business from here. She will be the one who will be coordinating everything," Mr. Brown said while introducing Geet to Maan.

"Hello Ms Handa, nice to meet you," Maan said while forwarding his hand for a handshake.

"Same here Mr. Khurana," Geet answered wile taking his hand for greeting.

"So now that the initial introduction is done, let's discuss some work, shall we," Mr. Brown said while guiding them to a makeshift tent kept there to discuss work.

After discussing about the initial stages and the contract guidelines, Joshua said, "And now I hand it all to you Geet and Mr Khurana. I will be leaving in two days and then you are incharge."

"But Joshua, you are leaving so early, I mean I thought you will be here with me." Geet said trying to digest that she will be alone handling everything.

"Geet, you need not worry, we will constantly be in touch, I am just heading to Mumbai for another project like this, and I will keep visiting here every week. Don't think I will be leaving so soon, giving you all the burden young lady." Joshua said with a smile.

"Thanks Joshua," Geet said feeling glad that he will be there.

Joshua continued, "And if I am not here, Mr. Khurana is here to help you out in case you need anything, isn't that right Mr. Khurana." Joshua said while looking at Maan.

Maan just smiled and said, "Sure Mr. Brown." He then turned to Geet and said, "In case you need any help Ms. Handa let me know. I will try to help in any way I can."

"Thanks Mr. Khurana," Geet replied politely.

"Ok then, all is settled here now, I will head to Mumbai. Mr. Khurana, who is handling our project there?" Joshua asked Maan.

"It's Mr. Dev Malhotra. He will be there to receive you and explain you all the details." Maan replied while they started moving towards their vehicles.

"I shall meet him at the Hotel then. We will take your leave now." He told Maan while gesturing Geet to sit in the car.

"Bye Mr. Brown and bye Ms. Handa. See you tomorrow." He bid them bye while heading towards the site.

"Bye Mr. Khurana," both Joshua and Geet said while entering into the car and driving away.

A new day will come tomorrow which might just change their destiny, in hope of a better future, to take away their silent life...
