The audience was witness to a glittering musical extravaganza at Andheri Sports Complex on Saturday evening, with most of the industry's top musicians and singers coming together on the stage. Scintillating performances by Alka Yagnik, Bappi Lahiri, Abhijeet and Shaan brought the house down and got the audience tapping their feet with the beats. Amongst these veterans of music, were the upcoming singers Diwakar Sharma, Sameer Mohammad and Sanchita Bhattacharya, who also enthralled the audiences. The programme was attended by a bevy of celebrities including Shreyas Talpade and Riya Sen. Pooja Bhatt was seen after a long hiatus and seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the show along with Anupam Kher. Madhur Bhandarkar rushed off early stating that he wanted to spend some quality time with his daughter. Aadesh Shrivastava, Ismail Durbar and Jatin Pandit were seen enjoying the show from the front rows. However, the super-highlight of the event remained none other than Shahrukh Khan who sent the crowd into a tizzy even before he stepped onto the stage. Though the Badshah of Bollywood was delayed by a fair amount of time which had the people shifting uneasily as time progressed, all was forgiven once he stepped on the dais and took charge. He chatted away with the kids, regaling them with stories about how, bad a singer he is and all his naughty exploits as a kid — which had the kids eating out if his hand!
