Valentine's Special: Rashmi and Nandish's love story

Love is in the air! The week for Valentine's has started and i-Dubba will give you full dose of romance for the entire week. We will take you to a journey of beautiful love stories of Reel to Real life couples of telly tube.

Today we are going to talk about Uttaran's famous Jodi who eventually became a real life couple- Rashmi Desai and Nandish Sandhu. Rashmi and Nandish's love story began on the sets of their show Uttaran on Colors, where they met each other for the first time. Apparently Rashmi was playing a grey character in the show that was madly in love with Veer played by Nandish. Rashmi played the role of Tapasya who was an obsessive lover of Veer who was in love with another girl Iccha.

They both shared a very good bond on the sets of the show and slowly started liking each other. For almost 6-7 months people saw them hanging out with each other but they never admitted to their relationship until Nandish decided to propose Rashmi on his B'day.

In real life Nandish is a very calm and sensitive person but he decided to propose the love of his life in total filmi avatar. Rashmi is a very bubbly girl and I guess Nandish wanted to go out of his nature to woo her.

On his B'day in 2010, he booked a yacht where he blindfolded Rashmi and proposed her in the middle of the sea. He gifted her diamond ring and bent down on his knees to say the final words. Rashmi was thrilled by his gesture and of course said yes! Moreover this head over heels in love couple partied all night on the yacht with few close friends.

They married on 12 February 2011 in Dholpur, Rajasthan which is Nandish's home town. Though the couple did a registered marriage before tying the nuptials knots in traditional ceremony. Don't know why but the couple registered themselves under fake names?

But as it is said, all is well that ends well hence the couple got all the blessings from their near and dear ones. Their marriage was a private affair and both looked stunning.
