Vikramaditya Motwane, who made his directorial debut with Udaan, has managed to get a nod from Imran Khan for his next project. The actor and the director are teaming up for a film to be produced by Phantom Productions.
A source close to the development told TOI: " Vikram had a script for a long time but he was busy making Lootera. The film ran into a series of hiccups but now that finally it is back on track, he is thinking of other projects. A few days back, he met Imran for a narration."
A source close to Imran confirmed and said: "Vikram and Imran have met and Imran has liked the script. The modalities will be worked out soon. The film is likely to go on floors in the second half of this year."
Both the actor and the director were unavailable to comment.
