Chapter3-

As aarti is about to leave the room, gayatri stops her and asks her to sit besides her. Aarti followed as per what gayatri said.

Gayatri : "Aarti, when the truth of u being a divorcee came out, I was very hurt and devasted. I never thought u would hide such a big truth from me and my family. But still I supported u. I wont lie to u aarti. Initially I only supported u because of my yash and my grandchildrens." Aarti was in tears to hear this.

Gayatri continued "I know I was being selfish aarti. Instead of understanding ur pain, I cared more abt yash and my grandchildrens. But now I can understand ur pain as I am going through the same situation as u were six years ago". "Aarti, beta tell me how did u face this betrayal beta please tell me. Where did u get such strength to face that crisis?".

Everyone was listening in tears to what gayatri asked aarti. SP and bua were standing outside the room listening to this conversation.

Aarti wiped her tears and took a deep breath and started.

"Mummyji, I am an orphan. And for a child, leading an orphans life is only enough to make him/her strong to face any kind of situation.Before prashant came into my life, I was on my own. No one was around me to advise me what is good and what is bad and to care for me. I just had to make my own decisions for my own life. I always believed in love. Or should I say a fairytale. I always considered my life as a story and as every girl dreams, I also dreamt for my prince charming from whom I only wanted love and respect. And I always dreamt to have a small family of mine own filled with love and affection as I did not have my own family I had lost them when I was 5. I don't even remember how my parents looked." Everybody got emotional with what aarti was saying.

Aarti further continued "And prashant gave me a family. Since the day one of my marriage, I was treated like a daughter in that house. I got that motherly and fatherly love which I had longed for as a child. Everything was perfect. And one day I got news that I was expecting ansh. I thought as if all of my dreams came true. But who knew that was actually the starting point of the journey where one by one my dreams would be shattered by a person who I considered everything, my god, my life. He decided to leave me because he thought I wasnot a good wife. He considered our marriage and my pregnancy a mistake. I did every single thing to save my marriage but couldnot. He forced me to sign the divorcee papers by threathning me that he will harm my unborn child if I don't sign. And I had to sign. And just that day my fairytale life got converted into a nightmare. "

Aartis eyes were filled with tears and so were others.

Prateik asked " Aarti bhabhi, how did u face this. What gave u strength?"

Aarti said "Pratiek bhaiya, there were two most important thing for which I kept myself alive. One is my ansh. For a mother her child is her life. She is ready to face any pain for the sake of her child. For me, it was ansh. Ansh was the only reason for who I was alive. He was already breathing in me. He was already seeing the world through my eyes. And I had no right to take his life away. No mother would do that. And after ansh was born, his smiles and his little gestures were enough for me to forget my pain. Ansh was my pain reliever. And even after ansh was born I could not take my life. I did not want that my son leads a life of an orphan just as I did. I would always pray not a single child on this earth have to lead a life like I did. I cannot be selfish as ansh father who never cared about his own son and his own parents. Whenever ansh used to ask me about his father, I could not tell him the truth. What would I have told him. That his father left us, abandoned us for some other woman. No mummyji, I had no strength to tell this bitter truth to my son. I knew if he knew this truth, he would lose all his innocence at this age which I never wanted. I did not want my child to lead a life filled with hatred. I did not want to snatch away my sons childhood. And hence I kept him away from his fathers reality. I wanted to teach my son good values and morals and importance of love. i tried to be mother and father both for my ansh. Hence I never wanted that prashant comes near ansh. I did not wanted one more prasant to be born in this world who would destroy the life of one more aarti.

And the second reason was shobha ma and bauji. Ever since I got married to prasant they considered me as their daughter. When prasant left me, they supported me , took care of me. And I had no right to leave them alone in stress when they had sacrificed their one and only son to give justice to their daughter in law. They protected me from the cruel society. They did every single thing for me.

And not only that, they made me remarry to yashji only for my sake and ansh sake. They lied to u and forced me to lie only for my happiness. Frankly speaking, I was not at all ready for this punar vivah. Because I was still not able to come out of my bitter past. But when I got to know yashji, I saw a difference of east and west between yashji and prasant. I saw how selfless yashji was. I always thought mummyji that I would not be able to love anyone again. But I was wrong. I did not even come to know when I came out of my bitter past and started loving yashji.

Aarti then asked gayatri to give one chance to SP which shocked her and even SP himself. She explained that "mummyji, I know right now everything is against bauji. But we don't know the entire truth. Mummji, bauji has always stand by his family and has always loved us very much. U have all right to be upset on him but giving him such a big punishment that to without knowing the entire truth would be to worse. Even the accused criminal in the court is given one chance to prove his innocence den y not bauji."

Gayatri to aarti "Did he give u the chance to explain ur situation when ur truth came out aarti? No. Not only that, he forced us to break all ties with u. Aarti how can u think of good for a person who always hated u?

Aarti: "Mummyji, I was hiding the truth. Whatever situation compelled me, I was full aware that I was lieing to u all. And bauji trutsted me very much mummyji. I broke his trust. And in this, bauji is himself not aware of what and how is all this happening. He has always stood for his family. He did not leave any of his family member during especially during crisis. U both have stayed together for 38 years mummyji. Bauji did not left u the way prashant left me. U both created this family. U both gave good values and morals to all ur sons. There must be something we still need to find out and know. And until then we have no right to behave in this way with bauji.

Gayatri: "How can u be so selfless aarti? Do u remember he supported that b****** during the court case of ansh.

Aarti: " And he did everything to locate ansh when he was kidnapped again. Mummyji just one chance please"

SP had tears in his eyes seeing fighting for him. He remembers all that moments in which he ill treated aarti and starts feeling guilty.

Gayatri starts praising aarti and says "u don't know aarti how selfless u r. U always think about ur family first. U give love respect and everything to everyone, without expecting anything in return. Since the day u married with yash, u had to see so many things but u never say a word against. Initially when palak refused u accept u as a mom, n insulted u did not even feel bad. U understood her feelings and slowly n slowly won her heart . N now u love palak and payal as ur own daughter. No one can say that u r not the real mother of paypal seeing ur bonding with them. I bet if some other woman were at ur place, she would have not even cared for palak after this. Even after the Mumbai incident, the whole family was against u. We all accused u of being characterless woman. N u heard everything quietly. Even yash behavior towards u was so harsh. But instead of understanding u, we only cared for yash and blamed u for everything. But u stood by yash, help him to get over his guilt and won his heart. And u forgot that incident so easily. U also did not expect any apology from any of us. Any other woman in place of u would have definitely left yash and this family. U stood by ur husband wen two big problems hit our family. U saved vidhi and paridhi from going to jail'but when u needed us we were not there for u. After ur truth came out, everyone is so cold and rude towards u. But still u don't even say a word aarti.

Vidhi, pankaj and SP starts feeling guilty for the way they behaved with aarti.

Gayatri then calls yash and takes his hand and put it on aartis. She says "Yash,u r really very lucky to have a lifepartner like aarti. Promise me beta, whatever happens, u will never leave aarti. U will be with her everytime and support her for everything. She has done a lot for this family. And has suffered a lot. I don't expect this from anyone else but only from u yash. Now she deserves to be happy beta. Promise me u wont let her down and let no miseries come in her way. N u will always keep her happy".

Yash " MA I promise u I will take good care of aartiji and I will always keep her happy".

Gayatri was very happy to hear this and hugged yash and aarti very tightly. She then said to aarti "Aarti from now don't call urself an orphan. I m not ur mother in law. But ur mother. Am I clear?"

Aarti was very happy to hear that and she put her head on gayatris lap and gayatri lovingly patted her.

Soon everybody was relieved to see gayatri smiling and proceeded towards their room. Gayatri ask aarya to leave and have rest.

In aaryas room'

Aarti was standing in the balcony staring at the starry sky and recalling all the moments with had happened an hour ago. She felt relieved as she was able to save gayatri and bring her back to normal. She closed her eyes and she remembers gayatri asking "Aarti how can u be so selfless?"

Aarti looks at the starry sky with teary eyes and says "I miss u mamma and papa. Where are u?"

After shobha ma and bauji came in her life, she never missed her parents. But as shobha ma and bauji went on prilgrimage, she felt very lonely. She wanted to share this incident with her parents. Hence she closed her eyes and remembered the last wish of her parents.

Their last wish which they asked aarti from aarti was a promise that " aarti, promise us that u will never stop loving and caring for all the way u do without expecting anything in return. Remember love is the best, eternal and pure blessing one has in this entire universe".

Aarti opens her eyes and says "Mummy papa, I have tried my best to keep ur morals and last wish alive"

With this yash slowly comes from behind and hugs her from the back. Both feel very relaxed in eachother embrace. Yash then turns her facing him. He takes a look at the wounded hand of aarti. He sees that it is very badly swollen. Yash immediately brings the first aid box and starts applying medicine and do the dressing. While doing the final tieing part of the dressing, he accidently put more pressure on the wound due to feel aarti feels pain and says "ouch". Yash very lovingly says sorry and kisses aarti on her wound. Aarti smiles at yash for his cute gesture. He den comes closer to aarti and kisses her on her forehead. When yash is about to kiss her on lips she abruptly stands up and tries to leave but yash holds her hand.

He again hugs his aartiji from back. He slowly takes her hair away from her right ears. Aarti fills chills throughtout her body due to which she closes her eyes. He den whispers in her ears "Happy valentines day wifey" and gift her a cute heart shaped pendant. And the pendant had the pic of yash and aarti.

Yash took her near the mirror and ask her to wear. Aarti asked him to do that for which he agreed happily.

Yash: "Did u like it?"

Aarti: "Yashji, Thank u very much. It is very beautiful.

Yash: " But my wifey is more beautiful than this pendant".

Aarti: "I promise u I will always keep this around me and the day it will removed would be the last day of my life"

Yash put his hand on aartis mouth and says "this the first and the last time I m telling u aartiji, u will never talk about dieing. Am I clear?"

Seeing yash upset aarti hugged hi tightly and promised him that she will never repeat this mistake again.

Yash thought to tease aarti to make the atmosphere lighter and hence he says "I will only forgive u on one condition".

Aarti ask his condition.

Yash says "u need to wish me valentines day and give me a gift"

Aarti wishes him happy valentines day and yash asks her for his gift.

Aarti says she will give him tomorrow. But yash says that "he wants it right now"

Aarti gets irritated and says "which shop will be open at this time for me so that I could buy a gift for u yashji?"

Yash lovingly answers her : "Aartiji, u don't need to go anywhere to buy me a gift because u have it".

Aarti looks confusingly at her yashji.

Yash cutely gestures at aarti to kiss him by putting his finger on his right cheek

Aarti smiles and feels shy. Yash says "aartiji, I am waiting for my tax"

Aarti smiling comes forward and kisses her yashjis right cheek. Then yash gestures and ask aarti to kiss on his left cheek. Aarti feels more shy and blushes and bends to give him his tax on left cheek.

Then yash asks her to kiss on his forehead by pointing his finger on his forehead. Aarti smiles at the naughty gesture of her yashji and gives him a kiss.

And when yash is about to point on his lips, aarti says "I think this much tax is enough for today" as she figured out what her yashji wanted before he asked her.

Yash : "no wifey. U will need to pay the tax or else I will not talk to u"

Aarti: "yashji, this is complete blackmail."

Yash : "everything is fair in love and war wifey"

Aarti: "oh I see. Ok I will pay ur tax but in return I want something"

Yash who was very happy to see aartis agreement asked her what she wanted

Aarti : " I want the ji to fly from my name yashji".

Yash looked at aarti and said

"I think the ji should not only go from ur name but also my name. What do u think?"

Both stare lovingly to each other and yash bends to kiss her. They kiss eachother very passionately. After sometime, they break their kiss.

Seeing aartis smiling and blushing face, yash promises her that he will always keep her happy and would never let that smile fade away as aartis smile was his strength.

Yash : "I love u arti"

Arti: "I love u yash"

AND BOTH DECIDE TO TAKE THE MATTER IN THEIR HANDS AND PROMISE EACHOTHER TO BRING BACK THE FAMILIES LOST PRESTIGE AND HAPPINESS
