okay i read many post condemning ayaan's behavior towards women.

let me tell you that what ayaan does is flirting and what roadside romeo do is eve teasing and there is a huge difference in that. asking a girl her name and no. without making her feel disgusted is flirting. but commenting on a girls body, giving her dirty looks and touching her without her consent is eve teasing.

what ayaan does is to impress a girl and make her fall for him but what the road side romeos do is try to do is totally sexual and physical.

ayaan tries to gain the consent of a woman and what others do is to force the women.

its like a women dresses up nicely for the man she likes to notice her. but some women dress up sexily to seduce men. there is a huge difference in both the cases.

PS: this post is not made to start a fight on men and women rights or anything social. its just to clear ayaan of extreme accusations. so please do not bash me on this.

Ayaan is a hopelessly bad flirt that he makes me love. However, he's harmless and if a girl says 'no' he is not shown as chasing them down and harnessing them. He is defiantly annoying but a girl would never feel unsafe in his presence...he's got respect for them. And so far I haven't seen him raise him hands at any of them or touch them inappropriately. So he's all good - just insensitive and ignorant towards Humaira's feelings towards him.

exactly my point! ayaan is bad at flirting. really bad😆 but he is not unsafe. a girl would never feel threatened by him. in fact girls would slap him for his attempts and walk away but he would not hit them back😆. as for his being ignorant when it comes to humeira he acts like a child with that "you are my best friend" tag.😔

And that's what makes him all the more endearing even though he is not the character whom I ever wanted to be with Zoya. However, this might just be what attracts her to him...he treats her nicely. 😉What bothers me is his shameless flirting has been so hurtful to Humeira...that innocent teasing with a girl who loves you dearly can be so painful when she realizes the truth that it is all in jest.

Yup, I agree. Ayaan is no threat to women really. He's not the kind of guy that someone would fear for their safety with. Its not like he would try to make any unwanted advances. He admires from a afar then compliments when he gets the chance to and all in all, tries to get the girl to fall for him. He doesn't disrespect women, he really does respect them, and I'm sure if one was unappreciative to his advances, he wouldn't do anything to harm them, all he would do is keep trying, harmlessly.

Very true!Ayaan is just a harmless flirt,not the sleazy perverted types that make your skin crawl at all and you're very right in saying that a girl would never feel scared,threatened or unsafe in his company. I really dnt see that he has it in him to hurt anyone intentionally or ever be vicious or obnoxious in any way.

I wud 've luv'd to see Ayaan's reactions towards Humaira if the later had given her consent regarding their marraiage !...coz I recall once b'fore he left no stones unturned in verbally abusing her ...calling her ''jhalli'' & stuff ...wen he came to knw he's been played upon !
