Bheegi,
In this case it is the quality of the posts rather than the numbers. And you've got some thought-provoking and very positive responses. That's what matters!

Have enjoyed several of your posts on this serial. Don't always comment but look forward to your posts each time. So thanks. :)

Given the social context of the serial the women have been shown in a rather progressive light. Thanks for pointing this out. It is easy to criticize, much harder to see the potential and encourage such views.
More power to you,

PS

Thanks again samba. Yes, there is a lot of criticism of Gul and the ph or showing women in poor light/abuse etc etc but we need to realize that they are actually trying to highlight the strength of women rather than glorify the crimes against women.

Sorry for the late reoky was away ..

Hiw arebu Darling?

Thanks nishi. I am doing well. Just wanted to highlight the positives after so much negativity this week. I think we need to realize that the ph is not glorifying oppression of women but highlighting the strength of women.

Zoya- a girl of modern thinking, Dilshad- A single, dedicated and a powerful single mother , Shireen- Someone who can sacrifice anything to make her husband happy, Badi bi- The lady with grey cells.i m glad that the show is doing really well and is focussing on power of women^^

Thanks salwa. If I remember, that's what Gul had said in her interview before the show started. Se wanted to show issues amongst Muslim women and how they are tackled.

Actually many more.

Nikhat- the sister who did not fear to stand up against her elders for her brother's happiness (breaking traditions), and prayed for the window between the families to be kept open through Asad- Ayan, more than her own happiness.

Humeiraa- the silly girl who grew up overnight to realise that love had to be let go...there was no love in bondage.

Najma: the sister who personally wanted nothing to do with the others 9shunned her half- sisters at the college), yet understood what Ayan meant to her bhaijaan.

IT IS ALL ABOUT WOMEN.
I don't understand why some women are blind to all this.😕
Loved your post.🤗

Yes, chicksoup all the women have something special to offer in the show. In fact, I wanted to make a post on all of them but then decided to focus on yesterday's episode first especially after the major controversy over women's oppression this week. I don't think at any point have the makers glorified the abuse against women. Even asad's thappad and his emotional abuse of zoya were never supposed to be glorified. His apology and zoya's forgiveness was well portrayed. Now if he continues to abuse her after this, then I would call him a habitual abjuser. Right now, lets wait and see..
