I like this track. I was getting a little bored of all the lovey dovey .. not that I dont' want to see the two of them happy together.

It's just that I don't what new conflict was going to come. The person RK was, in the beginning of the show, was truly evil from the inside. He wasn't your avg angry young man, or a dark hero, with a conscience. We have seen many, or almost all soaps, that have the angry, hateful, even sometimes cruel male lead. But he ALWAYS has a soft spot. His morals are intact, just hidden under layers of hatred and self preservation due to incidents in the past. But morally, ethically, that person is a sound person. And he always has someone he loves (mother, sister, daugther, aunt, grandma, etc).

In this case, this was a truly evil man. While I'm not a fan of Vivian's acting much (don't kill me here, to each their own), I do watch this show regularly and I think it's a great show. Vivian is definitely doing a great job, as is DD. They've both grown with their characters.

However, the show - that's the different element here. What I like the most about this show is it's fast pace. No dragging, no unnecessary drama. And they paid attention to details such as confusion, emotional blackmailing, WHILE not going OTT with these emotions.
So the fast pace has us coming back for more w/o skipping episodes that take a month to get one track to completion.

And then there's that which makes it most different - the hero's the true villian. Truly. A heart of a villain. A character of a villain. No mercy, no shame, no scruples, no self respect - mosty, no soft spot! He doesn't love his mother, his father, his family, ANYONE. Just his work. And treats people like crap.

I know I'll sound insane, but I love it! So while I was enjoying the love story, I may have been one of the few that said/though 'what the heck'? How could someone so evil just turn and change so easily. That's the story of ANY show. This was a bit different.

And then, slowly, I saw hints (or maybe I was day dreaming) of something darker. I figured maybe, JUST MAYBE, he is playing with her.

And voila!!! He truly was.

hey - this is a show. It's gotta entertain. And it's doing that. There will be pain, there will be penance. Rest assured. Madhu will strike back. And won't it be fun to watch someone like him, as much of a game player as RK, come to heel?

I think so. It'll be a treat to watch Madhu turn the tables on him.

I, for one, am loving this track. I just wish this episode had aired earlier in teh week so we coulda seen more of this track already. But no matter. I'll watch. It's all worth the wait :).

I get what you are saying. If RK was always supposed to be this villianish hero why show his soft side even when Madhu wasn't around? He was fantasising about her. He risked his life for her even when she wasn't around. He goes out of the way to make peace with his mother (even though Madhu wasn't expecting any progress in that direction. If this was all along the plot, they were fooling the viewers more than RK was fooling Madhu. If the revenge plot is true then this was a last minute addtion and not part of what they had been showing all these months. there are way too many loopholes.

I completely agree..there are way too many loopholes for the revenge track to look credible..
I was hoping they would show something more sensible given how the writing for the show has been brilliant and logical more often than not uptill now..

For me, it was worth the watch for the acting by both leads. Otherwise, it was all pretty much predictable.

As for the Naqaab story...for one moment, I almost thought it was when RK described the sequence of events like in a movie...that's still up in the air, though.

Only thing that was unexpected was Madhu not crying from the beginning...that's an instance of good direction and acting.
