I didn't know that Gul was solely responsible for Sanaya being a part of IPK. I just saw the interview and Gul mentioned how everyone else thought Sanaya looked too "South Bombay" and didn't think she would be able to pull off the role of Khushi.

But Gul fought for her and eventually won and Sanaya delivered by playing the role of Khushi to perfection. That's really wonderful to see a female support another female like this. Also, Gul praised Sanaya and her beauty so openly in the interview. It was wonderful to see their interaction.

Gul has gotten a lot of undeserved hate from people who have no right talking about her as they don't even know her as a person. I can see now why Sanaya defended her so much after the show ended. I'm sure Gul and Sanaya will work together again in the future.

So thank you Gul for having Sanaya's back and for being responsible for casting her as Khushi. If not for you, we would never have got to see the magic of Khushi and Arshi.

I loved that part. It was awesome to know that she trusted Sanaya so much and went against her teams wishes

And the best part was Sanaya actually lived up to her expectations!!

Thanks to Conspiracy theorists. They even came up with rumours about KSG and Gul

Anyways,

I will be forever grateful to Gul for trusting Sanaya and making her Khushi and giving us this AWESOME show!

thanks for the post. agree she had the vision for her kushi and she got SI awesome job, i think all the actors fit to the T for ipk i loved the whole cast till op 😲

thanks gul for giving us arhi and making me believe that arhi are real so much that i miss them even now

liked the post..glad to see one positive post about gul..i'm so happy to see our suny girl defending gul..speaks volume of her caring and daring nature..
i know people's mentality is not going to change..they will judge the public figure on the basis of their own perspective and nobody can stop them..
but hats off to sanaya to atleast have the guts to speak up..the way she handled the question regarding bashing is truly commendable
and yea thanks to gul khan..without her such a brilliant concept could have never existed in the first place..she's expert in creating sizzling couples on tv!

Regardless of what happened afterwards I will always be grateful to Gul for having the faith in Sanaya that she could be KKG and the determination to stick with her decision. Despite what happened in the end for a few months (different for different people) we were all touched deeply by the magic created by Gul and her team.

I think it was amazing that she could see Gunjan and see Khushi and see Shravan and see ASR...kudos to her for her vision in casting and giving us the magical jodi of Khushi-Arnav through Sanaya and Barun.

Everyone makes mistakes and she made hers but that shouldn't detract from the good work that she did do.
